Really nice looking
Really nice looking ceiling fan, installed on front porch. Looks quality and components are high end, made my own extension pole wanted 30" length. The only gripe is installation, very detailed and requires at least 2-3 hours. I'm a contractor and it took me 2 hours with help. I didn't subtract from rating because I love the fan, one great feature is the old light I replace came off & on with fr porch sw. The fans light works perfectly with sw.

Worth it.
Perfect for an office.Slightly hard to hang by myself but worked out.Quiet af.One thing missing in the directions is to shorten the length of the receiver wire connections as there’s a ton extra (hard to fit in the ceiling box.Beautiful modern look, definitely recommend.

Best Fan for the Mid Century Modern “fan”
Beautiful, simple Bauhaus design. Remote. Reversible. Quiet. Dimable, amber light. One tip on installation: do all the assembly (blades, light and electrical connections) prior to hanging and the final connections to power supply wires.

Piece of Junk. Screws too short and motor weak
Had several issue with this fan. First the screws for the light kit that came with it were way too small. Annoying, but one trip to the store took care of the issue. The bigger problem was after spending two hours assembling the fan it did not work. The motor was too under powered to turn the fan at low speed. The fan has six settings. To get the fan spinning on setting 1-3 you must push it with your hand first otherwise it just sits there and clicks and hums. For a $300 plus fan I would expect the hardware to be correct and the motor to have enough power to turn the blades. I will be disassembling the fan and sending it back. Probably in pieces with the hope they will even take it back. There are better fans for the money out there that will at the least perform as you expect a fan to do (turn). Suggest you look to other fans and avoid the issues this one brings to the table.

unclear install/setup instructions, delayed startup when you turn it on
No instructions were included, so I had to google them myself from Progress Lighting's website. The instructions included within were unclear and difficult to follow, and I only found it possible to do because I had just replaced 3 other ceiling fans within the past few days before I replaced this one. Even with that handicap, I needed several tries and checks to make sure I wasn't wiring anything incorrectly, and this was after a few trips to the hardware store to recut and reconfigure the wires since the amount of wire provided would not fit within the ceiling mount. This was NOT mentioned in the instructions, and was only doable with a separate youtube video explaining how to cut and strip wires.Once it WAS installed, I found that the ceiling fan took, on average, several seconds to start spinning and for the light to turn on, which is always terrifying when you've been doing a lot of wire work.I wouldn't buy this product, nor even this brand, ever again.

Not easy to install
The fan looks amazing. If you are not comfortable with wiring hire an electrician. It has a lot of wiring involved for a ceiling fan. Down side is the fan connects to a single light switch and can't run off a double light switch. IE you can't have one switch for the light and another for the fan. When you turn the light switch on it takes several seconds for the light to come on which is very strange.

Better than expected - highly recommend
Did a lot of research and choose this style and brand. We’ve had the fan in for about a month and couldn’t be more please. Assembly was easy and the quality as you assembled was evident; a serious step up from what you can get at the big box stores. The blades are actually a light-weight plastic painted with a wood grain which aids in the ease of installation.Works great and we LOVE how it looks, super quiet and pushes a ton of air. Light is plenty bright.Just be sure to actually follow the directions and each step. Being a guy I was off on my own, “I don’t need directions!”, and it caused a couple of minor re-do’s which were entirely my fault.
