This transfer board has been used about 12 times with a transport wheel chair since receiving it and has worked perfectly each time. The board is made of very sturdy hardwood with cut out handles at each end. Enhanced the smooth finished surface with several coats of furniture wax to eliminate any resistance to sliding on the board. Very pleased with this transfer board and would recommend this board for anyone that has a need for one.

very sturdy a lot thicker than my old board, same design

This board is hardwood and very nicely finished off so smooth and easy to use. Bought it to help my disabled husband transition from the front seat of our conversion van to his mobility cart in the back seatarea. We put velcro on the back side so we can store it in between the front seats on it's side when not in use. Handles are well placed on the board too, which helps with positioning. Highly recommend this product. Only wish it would have come in a smaller version, like 24" instead of 30 but as long as it does the trick, I'm happy and so is hubby.

Small and narrow. No use to us, transferring 200 lb patient with MD from bed to commode and back. Have to return to Las Vegas and pay high postage, trusting they will repay it up to $20.

My husband uses this board to transfer from his wheelchair to his power chair or to his recliner. It works very well for his needs to help aid his mobility.
