Jamo C910 Subwoofer Black

If you want a good sub for a great price - this is it! Sure, it doesn't go as low as other subs , but I don't want to spend $500+ on a subwoofer right now. This fits my current needs perfectly and sounds great. I've had to turn it down pretty heavily as I've moved my system from one room to another... This thing slaps! Can't go wrong for the price I paid ($180 I believe). Only regret is not springing for the 12 inch model!

Good bass and fits anywhere since woofer and port are both on the front. Too bad they were bought out and no longer associated with Klipsch. Hear newer products are not very good

For the price, it’s worth buying. Very good Sub. Shakes pictures in the other room. Loud powerful bass. If you looking for a Music Studio Sub, Jamo C910 Subwoofer Is the one for you, if you on a budget. And if you watch videos and movies from your computer, pretty good surround sound rumble Smooth nice black box too. (It could make your neighbors mad if you crank it up, it’s loud haha)

The best part is the price! No need to spend $$$$ on a premium 400W subwoofer if your putting it in a smaller living room or condo/apartment. Secondly, JAMO is a family brand of Klipsch - so you're not far from that reference as far as quality goes. You'll definitely want this subwoofer in your set up to handle the low end frequencies if you're buying JAMO box speakers, since JAMO focused on the mid- and high-end performance for their box speakers.

I'm really enjoying the sound this woofer produces. Following advice from an online video, I put the sub in my chair and then walked around the room to find where the bass was best. Then I swapped the sub to the spot I was in and now the bass sounds perfect from my chair. A lot easier than doing a sub-crawl. As to the unit itself, I like the build quality and how silently the unit produces the bass. I don't hear anything other than the music and sound effects. Exterior looks nice and matches up with the other speakers in the series.

I bought this to go with my pair of Fluance Ai61 powered speakers. Connection was simple. Very easy to set up. Forward firing gives better placement options. Also keeps sound from just being boomy when placed near corner. Volume and crossover dials work well. I can recommend this item as a great pairing or the Fluance sound signature.

Overal the sound is good for a subwoofer in this price range. The sound is a little muddy/muted, but that is likely the result of the combination of size and power. My biggest issue with this subwoofer is that it just randomly issues a loud, sudden "thump" sound, which appears to be some transient spike from the amplifier. This happens when the subwoofer is just sitting idle and is a little jarring as you're not expecting to hear it. I have tried the unit off and on a well-filtered power supply, but it makes no difference. I have also had it happen when nothing is connected to the inputs, so the issue is within the subwoofer itself.
