AUKEY Optic Pro Smartphone Camera Lens, 3X Telephoto Clip-On Lens for iPhone 8/7 / 6 / 6Plus, Samsung & Other Android Phones

Not as nice as the Aukey wide angle that I purchased at the same time. Build quality isn't as good and the lens cap doesn't fit very well.UPDATE: Aukey Direct has been contacting me repeatedly via email offering me a partial refund if I change my review from three to four stars. I think it's nice they're offering a partial refund, but I feel the review is accurate and this product deserves the three star rating I gave it. I have some integrity and am not interested in a bribe. What's the point of having a review function if the reviews aren't accurate? It makes me wonder how many other products are rated as they are, simply because companies are bribing people to skew the reviews in their favor. It's not ethical, in my opinion. The lens cap doesn't fit well and it falls off, that's a three star lens in my opinion. THE RATING STANDS. Especially since the other Aukey lens I have has a real lens cap, like on a pro camera. I gave that one the 5 stars it earned.

we love the AUKEY macro w/ wide angle and we (amongst many others) have produced some unbelievable shots considering it is a cell phone with macro lens attachment... people question they are from a cell phone and think they are images from a high end digital / 35mm."but" and a big but, this AUKEY zoom offers no additional value or "wow" factor to your distant images... if you just crop down a standard cell phone camera image, the cropped image looks like a zoom shot with much more definition then with the zoom attachment... i did a fairly thorough study with varying targets and varying light and took shots back-to-back with standard cell phone camera and with the zoom attachment... in every case, cropping a shot produced a far superior "zoomed" shot, than utilizing the zoom lens... it is surprising, but true ... and, quite astonishing, when you consider how well the AUKEY macro lens performs.the expectation is the zoom by AUKEY should produce similarly high quality/high def images, but such is not the case.so, stick with a standard cell-phone camera shot, focus on your long range target, and then crop your image... and, skip this zoom clip-on... you will not be disappointed.• note: do not use zoom effect on your camera... it only reduces your definition and again, cropping is best on a focused distant target.anyway. the AUKEY macro w/ wide angle i speak of is an incredible clip-on addition to your cell phone camera arsenal and is highly recommended;  AUKEY Ora iPhone Camera Lens, 0.55x 120° Wide Angle + 15x Macro Clip-on Cell Phone Camera Lenses Kit for Samsung, Android Smartphones, iPhone  check out some of the reviews with images of this macro clip-on and you will find many fascinating images that you can also produce.• bottom line: skip this item, crop focused distant images instead, and purchase the AUKEY macro/wide angle above.Thank you for listening, considering my words & opinion, and happy photo hunting! :-) deke

I have an I phone 5s.Likes:3x zoom works great.No image blur.Build quality of the lens is fantastic.Semi hard case for lens protection.Dislikes:Lens cap does not fit as snug as I would like.Clip barely fits on iPhone 5s.Clip spring is not as tight as I would like but it does keep the lens on without any shifting.I would purchase this product again.

Aukey does not state in the item description that this lens is not compatible with the iPhone 7 Plus. They say it's compatible with the iPhone. The IPhone 7 Plus has two lenses so this will not work. I now have the aggravation of sending mine back. Aukey should be up front and keep the item descriptions up to date. Further, answer to a compatibility question, Aukey states "fits iPhone 7 perfectly". This is misleading for the 7+ user and needs to be addressed.

This is a nice little Zoom attachment. I purchased it for my Motorola Nexus 6 and the arm attachment does allow for the stretch to the camera opening in the back of my phone. First I zoom in on my camera app and then attach the lens. There is no adjustment to make to zoom in or out as it is simple and immediately provides 3x the zooming distance of where you set your camera phone app to zoom in.The lens is substantial and a good feel of quality. My distant photos came out much better than just the zoom on my phone. The case has all that was described by the seller.This was a good purchase for my needs!

This lens actually exceeded my expectations. I assumed something so affordable would've been a gimmick, but I have been able to achieve quite a few viable shots (I've included one). The only downside (and hence the four stars) is the area in focus is only the absolute center of the image. This may just be a function of adding a lens to a camera not designed for one, but I feel it's fair to make the point. In terms of a telephoto for iPhone though, this is probably the best you're going to get.

This is a great add-on for not quite spur of the moment photography with a cell phone. I am impressed with the quality of construction as well as the optical quality of the lens itself. The hard case that the lens comes with provides very good protection for the lens when I toss it into my laptop backpack for everyday carry.

I ordered the Wide Angle and Macro lenses and Love them, so when I saw Aukey carry the 3x Optical ones, I HAD to buy!my ordered arrived as scheduled and I tested it out right away! I love how it fits on my Galaxy S7 (just needed a small adjustment since I don't use iphone), and the lens works GREAT! I was able to zoom in and take pictures of my cats without spooking them! :D
