It’s well made and seems it’s going to be easy to clean out at the end of the season
I bought this house based on the reviews. This is our first year to have wrens. We have 2 wren families living in 2 different hanging planters which makes it difficult to water my plants while not harming the babies. I want them back next season but hope 1 of the families will move into this house. The house is well made and seems like it will be easy to clean out at the end of the season. If the wrens like this one I’ll buy another next year because we like having the wrens around.

This Little Wren House is a GREAT BARGAIN!!!
I have no complaints at all!Unfortunately, I only ordered one, as I just wasn't sure I would get a decent bird box for this price. I will definitely be coming back to purchase more "Woodlink Cedar Wren Houses" this spring! The price is fantastic, the craftsmanship is way above average. This is simply a great deal all the way around ☺

Loved this for the stability as it has hole in ...
Loved this for the stability as it has hole in back to adhere to a post, instead of swinging in the breeze.I put up two in my carport and both were occupied by wrens within two days! I am thrilled, love the wren trill.Well made, the door opens for cleaning after the babies depart. The sparrows may check it out, but the right sized holesays hello only to the wren.I'm back for more!

Bamboo NOT cedar
Made of bamboo NOT cedar. It says in the title, photos & description that it is made of "inland kiln-dried red cedar" but it's bamboo. Bamboo is much less rot & pest resistant than cedar. Otherwise I'd have given it 5 stars because the construction is good. I'd return it but I need it today for our patio wren, as Hurricane Dorian is approaching.

Perfect house for Wren
We received the house, my husband hung it on a tree outside our window. Within two days it was occupied and we have enjoyed watching the busy wrens.

Has advantages & disadvantages
It will be easy to clean (not that I’ve had to clean it yet). I did have to sand the rough edges, including the hole for ingress/egress as well as much of the interior of the door, because there were obvious splinters (I don’t want to get a splinter, either!). Not a really big deal, as I’ve done this for other wren houses in the past. The other disadvantage: when hung by the provided strap, it is unlevel. I prefer to hang them on shepherd’s hooks so I can see some activity. I finally saw a wren going in & back out this morning, so I’m not yet sure whether it will serve as a safe haven for nesting couples. I do have hope it’s going to work for a pair per season, but time will tell. I have had other pairs nest in a pot of mums on a plant stand in the past (a nocturnal predator got the chicks as soon as they started chirping) and in the wreaths on my front door, so surely this wren house would be a “step up” despite its tilt up at the opening.
