Pandemic Or Not, Keeping things Sanitized Will Help Keep you Healthy
The media could not be loaded. First of all, with all the new variations of COVID popping up all over the world I am not believing we have seen the last of this and since I have a compromised immune system due to drugs I have to take I am more sensitive to taking care of myself and keeping things sanitary is one of those things we do along with a lot of hand washing. This little box will take care of your phones, your remotes and things of that size in just a few minutes and there is only 1 button so you just plug it up and drop the item inside and push the 1 button and it does what it promises and a safety switch that cannot be bypassed prevents you from opening the lid and possibly injuring your eyes (it turns off immediately) so this little box gets 5 Stars from me.

Everyone should have one
I have become more of a germaphobe in the new era of COVID-19.I not only clean my phone but also remotes, makeup brushes, and almost anything that will fit in the box.Bigger would be better. Also having 360 lights rather than just mirror on bottom.

Perfect
Got this for my makeup brushes. They fit perfectly. I also bought a UV-C card and as you can see, it pasts the test! The other reviewer “Luckyfeather” who used the same test card, did not read the instructions correctly. The Ultraviolet indicator will remain purple for a little bit after exposure, but the UV-C indicator will only glow while the light is on.

I bought this item while on sale. Even though I don't have some magic wand that tells me that the item have been serialized, I trust that it is; I put it on the kitchen counter close to the garage door entrance which reminds me to sterlaiz my keys when ever I return home. The size also allows me to serialize my cell phone as well, No matter of the size of my phone.

Not true USB C
I choose this one out of the UV boxes I could find because it had a USB C input. I figured, instead of adding another wall adapter, I would rather power it of off my USB charging hub. What I like about it:Design is nice.Has a good amount of space to sensitize varies things.Uses LEDs for UV, so I can expect the light bulbs to last a long time. What I do not like:The device is made of plastic and feels fairly light, which makes it feel like an inferior product. (Given its size, I expected it to be heavier. But that's personal preference.)Has what I consider to be an annoying beep when operating.Between the lid and the rest of the devices there is an opaque strip. When operating, the strip will light up purple from the UV LEDs. While this looks cool, it concerns me about possible UV light leakage.2022 update:I had previously ranted about the fact that I could not get this device to work off of my USB charging hub. Combined with the fact that that charging brick this device comes with is rated at 10V (a voltage that I had not previously seen for USB quick charging), I came to the conclusion that this device simply did not work off of standard USB charging bricks. In truth is that it can, but it can also be finicky about which USB ports it works off of. I have an older USB charging hub (I think the top port is Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0) and this device does not work off of the charging hub's quick charge port but will work if plugged into one of the regular 5V ports from the charging hub (go figure). That being said, after using it for months I have come to understand an annoying feature. If you keep this device plugged in constantly, it will go to "sleep". In order to wake the device up, you need to hit the power button and then wait 5 seconds for the device to wake up. Once woken up, the power button can be hit again to turn on the UV sanitizing. I usually use this device in the morning to sanitize my eye mask after waking up. This usually involves me waking up, putting the eye mask in the device, then hitting the power button twice in a row (once to power on the device, and a second time to turn on the UV sanitizer). This method does not work, you have to hit the power button once followed by waiting for 5 seconds for the device to wake up before you can hit the power button a second time. If you quickly hit the power button twice the device will not turn on at all. It is faster to unplug the power cord for this device, plug the power cord back in, and then hit the power button to turn on UV sanitizing than it is too wait for those 5 seconds. The fact that the first thing in the morning I have too do is wait at a stupid device for 5 seconds before I can go do other things is very annoying, to the point where I hardly use this device at all. If I had known about the 5 second "feature", I would have never bought this device, especially since there are similar once for much less money.

Love it, smell reduction but doesn't fit phone
Love this! Took all the smell out of an old dog collar to test. Just doesn't fit my phone, I have a galaxy note ultra, the box is only about 2cm too narrow though.
