Walking Boot Cover for Medical Brace Orthopedic and Fracture Cast with Integrative Slip-Resistant Rubber Sole (Black, Tall, Large)

Bought this to cover the walking boot if it rained or snowed. Only had to use it one week out of the 6 I had the boot, but it was out twice a day during that week in snow, slush and mud and kept my boot dry. I wasn't wading around in water so don't know how waterproof it would be for that. Shows very little wear. Easy to get off and on and to clean. It is BRIGHT pink. Figured it was not going to be subtle anyway so why not have some fun with it. It was a good purchase.

Good quality, and great fit for a large / tall boot. Wore are BurningMan 2024 and kept dust of actual boot. Easy to put on as used in extreme environment, both walking and riding e-bike. On of the loops to fasten broke off after about 5 days but twisted Velcro strap and still able to use. In face when I did that it fitted more snugly. Didn’t think it would last the 9 days but it did. Very impressed and happy with the purchase:)

No tread on the bottom makes it slippery when walking on snow or other unpaved outdoor surfaces.After 8 hours of use (only 1 of which was outside in light snow getting in and out of truck) boot already leaks. Inside was wet, entire boot sole was wet, water was beginning to soak the ortho boot padding and my sock.No tears or damage to the cover are visible, appears that all the water was getting in through the seam.Boot cover would probably work great for indoor use only but even running errands just would be worth it.Would not recommend or purchase again.

Broke my foot a month before multiple vacations. This cover. I hiked in it. I went on the beach. It went through multiple rainstorms, and yet??? The boot stayed in good condition. It only ripped right at the end, like a couple days before I was released from the boot, but the cover made it over two months with heavy use before it tore. It wasnt completely water proof, but i sprayed it down with water proofing spray which helped a lot. 5/5 stars, easy.

I have a tall medium aircast - the medium size fits perfectly. Easy to put on. It’s a damp day - i bought this orimarily to keep my boot/foot clean and dry while in the barn. Will try it out later today and this week and hopefully update this review laterUpdate: have used this cover about a week now whenever i go outside. It keeps the boot clean when i am in barn. I’ve walked the gravel drive a couple times now. It’s easy to put on and has held up well so far. The first day was pretty wet and my toes got wet so i put a cut off baggie over my toe end of the aircast then boot the whole foot and boot in the cover. No wet toes since.I doubt this would work in standing water but wet grass or light rain it has worked for me. When i am out of the boot, i’ll update again.

So it snowed here this winter for this first time in many years and this protected my post op boot so I could enjoy myself in the snow for a few minutes. My post op boot was for a women's size 9. This cover was a snug fit.

This is a good product idea, and works great keeping the weather and debris off of an orthopedic walking boot, but they wear too quickly. I have been trapped in a boot for several months and have relied on them to keep the snow and rain out, but I have lost track of how many I have had to purchase when the bottom wears and fails.I will have this walking boot for a while yet, so I will have to keep ordering new covers. My wish is for a more robust and wear resistant bottom.

I've spent over 2 months in a short boot with 2 more months to go. I spend most of my free time hiking through the woods (geocaching), so I'm pretty rough on things. Other than breaking off one of the zipper pulls (my fault), this has stood up quite well ~even after a couple of runs through the washer. It's kept my boot looking good and I've had no trouble with it staying on. Easy to get on and off, seems durable and a good value for the money. I wear a size 6.5 and the small fit just right. I also appreciate the fact that there is a bit of tread on the bottom to keep me from "skating" on wet grass.
