As I considered purchasing this, my main concern was wether I’d receive 1 or 2 soap cases and fortunately I got 2. My main intended use for this was for my round shampoo bars from THE EARTHLING CO. Using two individual round containers seemed like a waste of space especially since they would be significantly larger than what I needed them to be. I needed a soap container that would allow me to store it in the bathroom in a way that kept it dry and one that was sturdy enough to keep my soaps safe for when I travel to stay at my parents home for the weekend. This case is very sturdy, and the seal on it is actually way better than I expected (the reviews said it was good but it actually took me a bit of force to open it up ... so I’ll probably have to open these up before getting into the shower) either way i’m impressed and confident that this product will work for me. The only thing I did not like about this was the fact that the soap saver pad smelled really strongly like chemicals. I aired them out a bit but eventually just rinsed them with some soap and water and that helped.If you also are looking to store your Earthling co bars in this here are some tips.The round shampoo bars don’t fit side by side so I chose to cut my conditioner bar (I also cut the shampoo bar but that one is a flaky boy and made a little mess so cut the conditioner bar instead lol) I have the unscented ones and they are great!I also have a facial soap bar (rose charcoal) and it a snug fit with a very little wiggle room and with use the soap gets smaller so it’s fine. mine is cut in half because I was just using a little bit to make sure the other half stayed clean so I could later leave it at my parents home but now I have these so I don’t have to leave my things behind.I also have their 6oz body soap bars and they are fat boys so they don’t fit BUT you can do what I do and cut it in half the long way, one half definitely fits. I also store another half of a bar in a soap saver bag/loofa pouch.

I bought 3 of these soap containers, because I love and use three different soaps. The container I bought as a single came with a scrubbing bag. The Almond Caswell Massey bar (unmatched for moisturizing, and it still cuts right through high-quality pine tar salve) is too thick to fit into the container even without the sponge in the box. You’d have to pack along an old, used bar if you were using this travel container. The Mirai Clinical bar (formulated to destroy the untouchable “old person smell,“ so it will absolutely reset your beloved’s foot odor back to zero) fits well, and Chidoriya (the only thing that keeps my face perfectly clear no matter what) easily fits. These are well-known soaps, so I’m sure that these references to size are useful to someone. The silicone band ensures that these boxes stay shut. I put some water in one and sealed it up. I held it over the sink for about a minute and nothing dripped out. I’ll have to let my hard-won favorite soaps dry a little before sealing them in their cases so I don’t liquify them in there.Sophie’s Soap Choice: Um. I purchased this product for the color and design. It looks beautiful in our shower vs the colored cheap plastic containers sold in stores. This upgrades the look in our home. It is a great soap holder, the tops fits well to the bottom, the band holds both sides securely together. The sponge inside helps keep the soap dry and clean. I myself had made my own with a sponge inside. This product is so much better, easier to clean, and not that often. Great for travel. I love this product.

This thing is great, I use it every day to transport my bar of soap to the gym. It is air tight. If there’s a little bit of water in the case, I have no concern of it leaking out (I think the rubber band helps). It’s super easy to clean and just rinse off the pad while you’re in the shower, and also I have went a while before rinsing it out and it has stayed very fresh and clean the whole time. I love it.

I ordered 2 for a trip. The soap won’t accept a regular-sized bar to fit with lid closed (example, husband’s Irish Spring bar was way too large so I packed his used-bar to get it to fit). The padding inside does help keep the soap from getting soggy until the water has filled the bottom piece then of course need to pour off the water.I liked the quality and if the soap bar will fit, then yes, it is leak-proof. For example, I had a 4 oz soap bar by Grove which wouldn’t fit so I ended up putting my soap container in a zip-lock bag at start of trip. Return trip the soap bar was used and fit., did not leak. The containers look nice, did not leak after using small-sized bars of soap also, helped organize better for packing. I would purchase again but try to find little larger size.

I gave this item 2 stars instead of 1 star, because it was, indeed, leak proof - or, as near as I could determine since I COULD NOT OPEN THE THING! Admittedly, I have small, and maybe not so strong hands, but my husband couldn’t open it either! Maybe it would get easier with use? I don’t know. I had ordered a second set of soap holders to see which I liked better, and the other I did like better - the Quatish Portable Soap Dish, which suits my needs - and I could open it! (And yet, it seems like it will be leak proof as well).

These are great soap holders and I highly recommend them. The lids are snug yet are easy to open with wet, soapy hands. They seal well and keep the contents dry. The soap bars don't stick to the savers so are easy to take out. I now have 3 of them as I've been trying to reduce my purchases of single use plastics so have made some switches to my shower products. I use the blue one to hold my shower soap, the green one for my shampoo bar and the white one for my facial soap. Traditional, cheaper soap holders were flimsy and it was nearly impossible to remove soap bars from them because they'd get so stuck to the bottom. I've also traveled with these and they don't come apart (even without the band). Seems silly to write such a long review about soap holders but if you're in the need you can't go wrong with these!

This thing is awesome. Doesn't quite fit a brand new bar of normal, cheap soap, so I just grabbed the half used one from my shower instead. I was away for about 10 days, it lived (closed) in the shower, with a sisal soap bag draped on top of the lid. Soap didn't leak, bag would be damp but nothing extra inside. As soon as I got home, I took out the soap and the soap saver, cleaned the box and soap saver, air-dryed it all then packed it away for the next time. Love the band, fits very securely, so I know that if/when it falls, the soap won't go flying onto the ground and get all gross. Band just slips onto my wrist while I shower, like the old charity bracelets. Very glad I bought it, made travelling more sustainable and easier.

I actually use this little box in the shower as the husbands soap normally disappears within a few days when it’s left out on the shelf where the water hits it. This preserves the soap and makes it last much longer. Stays closed really well.

This is a very good little soap holder, well made of a thick vinyl type material and the thick white band holds the lid on. It doesn't leak, and the soap pad keeps things tidy inside and saves your soap.

I'm so happy with this purchase, such a great product, sturdy and the exfoliating pouch was a great little addition to, travels with me everywhere for work
