We had a shark for several years and recently it failed to work so after much research I discovered the sienna. It arrived on time and we tried it out on our kitchen floors that needed a good scrub. First thing we noticed was that we did not have to pump the handle to get steam like the shark. The unit produced steam in less than 30 seconds. We used the lightest steam selection and were amazed that we did not only the kitchen but the dining room and part of the living room before we had to refill. We like the fact that we can use tap water vs distilled, a big money saver. Our shark for the same area would have required at least 3-4 fill ups. We also tackled the toilet on heavy steam with vibration and the grout came out white. We had to use the smaller attachment on the hose to get behind the fixtures and that worked well . We did the tub and tile areas and they came clean. The only area that we found wanting was cleaning the glass door. We could not get the squeegee to clean. We ended using elbow grease and a scouring sponge. The unit is very light and had no issues with carrying it around when using the hose and attachments. The downsides are it comes with two pads for the main head and one for the smaller attachment. They get really dirty fast and we will be ordering several more so we won’t have to rinse them out so we don’t end up putting the dirt back on the floor. The other thing we found uncomfortable is that using the hose and attachment meant we had to carry/sling the unit over our shoulder which is difficult if you are cleaning tight spaces on the floor. Maybe they could design a nozzle close to the main head where we could attach the hose. We ended having one person holding the unit the other cleaning. This was also true when I tried cleaning the grill. We also got used to the shark feature that when one side of the pad got dirty you could just turn the head and continue not so with this unit. The plus side is that the pad comes off easy and you get two of them. Changing the small tool head pad you need to make sure it is not hot before you do as it gets pretty hot. Lastly it is a nice touch to have the carry bag for all the tools and the fact it stands up on its own. So far after 3 uses we are very satisfied and would recommend this unit for home use

I wanted to give high praise to Anvid Products and more specifically extend my sincere gratitude the Sherrie who was the customer service specialist who went above and beyond my expectations and really made my day. We purchased the steam mop in Oct 2017 and it works great. We have a lot of indoor tile and we have two doxies who sometimes do their business on the floor and track in a bunch of stuff from backyard. So we wanted something that was light & easy to use but that would also disinfect without using harsh chemicals that could hurt our dogs. The mop works really well and I was pleased because it’s kind of expensive but a really good overall value.Here is why I wanted to post this review because basically we didn’t realize how important it is to use distilled water. We used good old AZ tap water which is notorious for having hard water calcium. Well I learned my lesson because the rubber tubing must have gotten clogged with calcification or something because the other day when she filled and turned on there was a loud pop and water leaked out. I took it about and discovered the rubber hose that come out of the water heater into the mop head had burst. There’s actually more electronics and stuff packed in there than I was expecting and I contacted Andvid Products customer service and you have to leave a voicemail because no one answers and I sent email too.I explained what happened and was honest that we didn’t use distilled water and to my amazement Sherrie said she would make an exception for me and send me a brand new steam mop! I was floored. In all honesty I was hoping that I could send in my mop and get it fixed. My mop was over year old and not under warranty. We had only used it 15-20 times I figure.So I think any company that will take care of a customer like this and go above and beyond expectations when legally they aren’t required to is pretty amazing in this day and age. I bought my steamer based on reviews and others who said they stood behind their products and I wanted to also personally attest to that as well.
