They're just "scorch pens"
So I'll "scorch"..... I've never tried another brand to compare to but these seem like they'll do the trick.

Not bad.
The only negative to these pens, is that they spread out over the wood a little too much. Not a neat as i would have liked them to be.

Scorch Pen
Great product. Draw what you want burnt onto your surface and heat it with a heat gun and watch your creation burn in right before your eyes.

Not a fan
Didn’t think they worked that well

Work great but are not for small, very precise projects.
These are super easy to use but definitely make sure you sand your wood like the instructions say to. And don’t push too hard. They tend to bleed quite a bit. I used it to make numbers and it took a couple tries, sanding and resending to get them close to what I wanted.

Safer Wood burning substitute
Pretty neat concept did a small test when it arrived. It not actually burning the wood but more of a chemical reaction with the heat. The longer you apply heat the darker it gets. The end results looked like I took a sharpie marker and made a design but still a good product.
