Great!!!
Great! Very helpful to visualize molecules in 3D for OChem students.

Great product!
It was a great deal compared to the kits they sell on campus. Basically has everything you’d need! Works well, would recommend!!!

these were so cool
This product will help you visualize 3D organic structures. It was very helpful when I was learning about stereochemistry. If i had to go back I might get them a little bigger but it is otherwise a perfect product

This helped so much with visualizing 3D concepts that they try to teach on a 2D plane
The Chemistry Model Kit is an invaluable resource for college students, high school AP students, and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of molecular structures. With over 200 pieces, this kit offers a comprehensive set for building a variety of molecules with precision. The box is compact, making it easy to carry between classes, and it includes bags for organizing the different components, ensuring everything stays neat and accessible. I found this kit particularly helpful for mastering complex concepts such as Newman projections, molecular geometries (including those hidden hydrogens and lone pairs), and both boat and chair conformations. It’s also great for visualizing rotation around bonds, which can often be difficult to grasp without hands-on experience. Whether you're tackling organic chemistry or studying for AP exams, this kit is an excellent tool for enhancing your learning and making abstract concepts more tangible.

Big kit in little package
ProsThis kit is really nice - tons of connections and atoms for such a small package. I included a photo of the box with my wallet for comparison. I built a small sialoside ligand, and as you can see, there's still plenty of parts left over.MiddleSince the pieces are small, they're kind of harder to work with than ball and stick models like the Pearson molecular model kit. However, what they lack in ease of use, they more than make up for in portability and quantity. The resonators are a cool feature. Not exactly needed but nice to have.ConsWould be nice to have more oxygens of various hybridizations in the kit. I work with carbohydrates so use them a lot more often than other fields.

Great molecule set for older students.
I wanted an inexpensive molecule set for my grandchildren. The kit served the basic need very well. The only thing I did not like was how they did the pi bonds on double and triple bonds. Their system for representing pi bonds was very accurate but for elementary school kids it was too complicated. For them I would have preferred bending bond like the old ball and spring kits. Much easier for elementary school aged kids.

It's good
Good little chemistry set. Only problem I have is that some pieces are made inconsistently, a lot of the time I'll either have bonds falling apart on me or so hard to jam in it's almost impossible. Also, the p-bond tubes are sketchy at best, but for what I paid for it I can't expect perfection.
