Metra 40-LX30 Antenna Adapter for Lexus FM Modulator

Item is exactly as described.These are NOT complaints but caveats: There are no instructions so I spent more than an hour trying to figure out where this goes. To make matters worse, My LS430 has 5 different antennas (as I recall) and it took me a couple of days to figure out which one I should attach this to.SO, the radio antenna (and one end of the adapter) plugs in to a radio unit in the bottom right side of the trunk. Actually it is in the little space to the right of the spare tire space. You will see two electronics boxes and the radio box is the forward most box. I had to take it out to figure out how it plugged in.I also got a Metra FM converter which I hooked up using this adapter. The FM adapter, not this adapter causes some static when I listen to the radio. With my phone plugged into the FM adapter the music is crystal clear.The only real problem is that I can't find a "hot" wire in my trunk to power the FM converted. I found other posters who mentioned they found a "hot" wire in the trunk but they didn't say where. Even with my car radio and phone radio turned completely up the volume of the music isn't very loud- but at least I can play music off my phone now!
