I was a little apprehensive about the other reviews, but all the bad reviews are old. There was no weird smell. The instructions are so easy to follow. Each piece is labeled clearly, including hardware. Not sure how you could have a hard time. I used a power screwdriver (I'm very lazy) and it took about 20 minutes to assemble, including unboxing. Packaged well--- foam bricks and that cushiony wrap. No scratches on mine. I may add casters/wheels to give a little height/movability in my space.

In the description, the product is described as 24 inches high. It is not. It’s about 1/2 an inch shy of 24. Usually, I would not care. However, for this purchase I needed the table to be 24 inches. I have another round side table on the other side of the couch. This side table and that round one have matching lamps. Because this side table is 1/2 an inch less than 24, the lamps are not even in stature...It’s quite visible. It was also the entire point why I bought this side table. So frustrating!Also, I’m pretty good at putting furniture together. From bookcases, to tv stands, to coffeee table, etc...I never have an issue. However, this small side table was so difficult. The directions are not clear. You need to observe them carefully. Also, clasping the shelves together is tricky. Double check to make sure they are secure.I would not recommend this product. For what it is, you are paying too much. Recently, I purchased a bookcase that was all wood, better quality, easy to assemble for $50. I honestly want to return this side table, but don’t know how to go about it when it’s already been put together.

Bought two tables. Heavy chemical smell when we opened the boxes that still lingered in the house the next day. They are okay for the cost - just don't look too closely at them. Screw holes are covered by stickers that don't really blend in well enough. Several stickers were creased and won't lay flat. If I can find screw cap covers that fit, we'll replace them. One table top was scratched. Both tables had cracks in the paint near joints and one had a really bad touch-up job with a different color paint that was really noticeable (tables were black, touch-up paint was not). Neither table should have gotten passed QA.

I searched and searched for a good size side table and I’m glad I found it! It’s very sturdy and the quality of the table is great! The instructions to assemble it was very easy and it took my husband less than 20 min to put it together. Didn’t come scratched and was very well packaged.

For the price, I guess I can justify the dealing with all of the defects this table has. There's multiple scuffs and scratches throughout all sides of the table and the workmanship is very poor at best. One side has a gap in between the wood seam which you can see in the picture, along with a picture of the chips & scratches. Very disappointing to say the least.

It's beautiful and I put it together without help. I am NOT mechanically inclined or good at putting things together, this is going next to my keyboard to hold my music books and it is not just sturdy, it's very lovely to look at. Just take a deep breath and believe you can do it. That's what I did, because the instructions are the typical diagram with no words. Basically just some sort of cartoon nightmare spelling out, "we are not real instructions". In spite of that, I had it assembled before the original Night of the Living Dead was over, so UNDER TWO HOURS. This table is so sturdy and pretty that I'm buying another one. Highly recommend it if the table in the picture is what you want. That's exactly what you get!

With my husband and I both working remotely and three kids doing distance learning, our living room is our study hall and this table was the perfect, low-profile piece of furniture that serves as our printer stand. It matches our living room furniture and provides the perfect amount of storage space for reams of paper and other printer supplies. Easy and quick to assemble. Very happy with this product.

Don't buy this. The toxic smell of this furniture is overwhelming to say the least! The table is also very cheap. Multiple surfaces arrived scratched or chipped still in the packaging. I'm not sure what it is made of or coated with, but it's not worth the financial savings on these tables (we ordered two). I guess you really do get what you pay for. We are returning these tables STAT! I have every window in my house open just to get a breath of fresh air. Just say "NO" to this extremely cheap and toxic product!
