This is the perfect product for cold season. I'd rather prevent with a natural product than treat the symptoms of a cold.

Didn't seem to work when I was actually sick
This may be a quite excellent supplement, but, to be perfectly honest, I never personally saw any evidence of health improvement while taking it. It's "natural", but so is the egg that "naturally" smashed after I dropped it.As a PSA, you (the consumer) should be aware that the term "natural" is relatively meaningless. It isn't regulated by the FDA, there are no requirements for the food that goes into "natural" products, and there is no type of "natural" certification. Literally anyone can put the word "natural" on their products - even if it's full of GMOs, food dyes, chemicals, and preservatives. (I'm not saying that this product is, but it's good to know for products in general.) "Organic", on the other hand, IS a heavily regulated, policed, and concrete claim, and this product doesn't mention anything of the sort.Actually, the only genuine concrete certification Red Canoe mentions having is "GMP Certification". GMP stands for "Good Manufacturing Practice", and its requirements vary depending on the agency who conducted the inspection and certification. It doesn't mean anything for the source or quality of the ingredients, merely that their manufacturing facility is clean and well-operated and their labels are accurate. That said, the ingredients listed on the label really are supposed to help your immune system, so there's probably not going to be any harm in your taking this supplement. As for my personal experience with it, I got sick with a headcold much faster than usual last week. I hadn't been taking this supplement daily, and I began taking it as soon as I experienced any symptoms. I was sick in under a single day - symptom-free to full-on-headcold - which is unusual for me. I took this every day that I was sick, hoping for rapid improvement. But I was still sick for about a week, which is on the longer side for the duration of a cold for me. In all fairness, I might have had a worse cold if I hadn't been taking the supplement, but it's doubtful. It felt like a full, normal headcold, no more, no less.Hopefully the supplement works better as a preventative measure, because it didn't seem to help while I was actually sick. YMMV.(This product was provided to me at a discount in return for my honest and unbiased opinion.)
