Dremel Oscillating Tool Kit with Accessories | MM50-01 Multi-Max DIY Oscillating Tool and MM480 Flush Cut Blade

Bought this for doing some work on some rotten lower door jambs. This is a 100% must have. Very easy to use and control. Made the jobs so much easier. Blades that came with tool held up very well after repairing two jambs. Suggest getting some carbide wood/metal cutting heads just in case you ever need them.

Okay, so my MM45 motor finally went out on me - as my Wife told me "You use that very often". That is true, with all my home and ranch projects I use this Dremel oscillating saw more than my rotary. Full disclosure, I have several options for a circular type saw and this is my only oscillating saw.The design was changed on removing the blade and I like the improvement, seems safer than the prior version I had. To change the tool you twist the large "wing nut" shaped thingy, then push it in and remove the blade.The motor is even more powerful than my prior model. Have already used this to cut through light tin, cross cut wood frame that is attached to the wall and created a channel in some wood for my security alarm wires to be tucked under.I strongly recommend this Dremel.

Great product, but packaging left a lot to be desired! Label was simply slapped on the original box and not put into secondary packaging at all! Thankfully my mail carrier locked it in a locker instead of putting on my porch!

I purchased this tool as I needed to do some work repairing dry rot in my garage door. It did a great job. Since then I have used it to trim out some drywall and again it does a great job. I like the ease of attaching the blades and using it for sanding. The sandpaper just sticks to the sanding attachment. Thank you.

This worked super well in removing grout in preparation for regrouting. Then about 4 weeks later took it out to sand a wood box, it quit halfway into the task. The blue switch (off/on) is stuck and will not budge. Contacted Dremel as I missed the return window by 3 days. The representative said to ship it back and they will determine if it can be repaired (possibly at a cost to me) or replaced. They did not provide a prepaid shipping label until I pressed the issue then was told they would, have not received as of yet.

I have inspected it, but not used it yet. Got ad from Dremel about battery units. Wish I got that earlier!I think it will be useful just need the long extension cords to use outside home. heard they are noisy so will prepare my self with ear muff noise blockers.

Needed the tool for a project in my shed and I have another dermal I trust and use from time to time as well and this worked perfect for the job I needed it for.

The tool broke after 3 uses. Beware there is only one place in Canada authorized to repair/replace dremel oscillating tools. Unfortunately for us it’s not near where we live so it cost us $20 to ship the tool back and it’ll be about 2 weeks to get the new tool. Whatever money we saved buying it, we lost by having to ship it for replacement. Next time I won’t buy a tool online unless we have a local authorized repair place. Tool performance was okay until it broke....

We have been renovating, and there are all sorts of areas that are very difficult to work within. This tool is fantastic for getting into the tight spaces, fine cuts and finicky work and all those little touch ups that are a real pain with other tools. We never knew how useful it would be until we were looking for it and then got it. Great little gadget, and we have just begun to explore all the possibilities.It opens up new vistas in areas we would not have approached without it.

The sanding tool failed after the first few seconds of use. I needed the job done that night so I had to used a sanding block instead and wasted a lot more time. Now I have to waste my time writing this review, but at least it may save you some time if you plan to use the Dremel Multi-Max for sanding. It also makes me question how safe the cutting attachments are after the sanding one came apart within seconds.

This little tool comes in handy. I don’t mind that it has a power cord. I could see how a battery powered alternative would be more convenient(...also more money). It is especially useful when cutting door jams when fitting base boards. Also good for making quick clean cuts in drywall.

Adquirí esta multiherramienta porque ya había tenido otra Dremel (la hermana mayor de esta, una de 7Amp), pero, quedé desilucionado. La he regresado. Creo que es una buena herramienta, sin embargo, para el precio que cuesta yo esperaba mucho mejor desempeño. Apenas corté una madera que tenía un tornillo y la hoja de sierra se estropeó. La herramienta es pequeña, ligera y esbelta, y quizás por ello le falta potencia.Compré en Amazon otra, una Hammerhead, y fácilmente superó a la Dremel, y me costó una septima parte del valor de esta. Mal para Dremel, bien para Hammehead. Como siempre, Amazon estupendo.
