Great for shooting sports. 1) The noise amplification is fantastic! I had the microphones at full volume and I could clearly hear a conversation 3m away while there were several shooters firing at the same time. 2) For hearing protection I would rate them the same as foam earplugs. I'm not evaluating with scientific equipment. I mean you still hear a muffled shot but your ears will not hurt from the sound or pressure. 3) If you are military this will not fit under your standard issue kevlar. These are a great purchase if you do a lot of shooting.

Very compact, Each side has it's own electronics with battery compartment so there's no wire across the headband. Each side has it's own on/off volume control. I wish it had a standard 1/8 inch audio port instead of the 2 pin proprietary connector.

They fit snugly on my head and were as described by the seller.

They work very well. They are being used by my carpenter husband for work and yard work. He tells me they are the best ear protection he's ever used.

Great sound and quick delivery

I bought these after buying an inexpensive set of over the ear hearing protectors at the store. I am a new AR-15 owner and the indoor range is exceedingly loud. Even with using ear plugs and the over the ear store bought ear protectors the range sound was uncomfortably loud. My ears rang loudly for several hours after leaving the range. Even though they were not cheap you can never get your hearing back so the investment, to me, seemed well worth it. Did they work? The short answer is that they do, and very, very well. I went back to the range and the hearing protection is much, much better. The electronic amplification of voices makes them a must have if you go to the range with any regularity. While attenuating the loud sounds to a very manageable level, they make it very easy for you to hear voices and carry on conversations without shouting. The gel ear cups are comfortable and create a great seal around the ear. After an hour I didn't get that pressure headache I have had before. I hear the long term durability is also good but I can't attest to that yet. But do I recommend these? Enthusiastically yes!
