I've been searching for a product like this for a long time. I have a Vanguard tripod and a generic monopod. I was tired of removing the Vanguard mounting plate every time I used the monopod so I was looking for an adapter. Another brand I tried was about 2mm too small to accommodate the Vanguard plate, but this one is perfect. Just wish I had found it earlier!

This is a near-perfect match for the sky watcher star adventure 2i. With this you can have a quick release mount for your camera, and move the camera far enough from the star adventure as to reduce collisions between the camera and the mount. However, you may also want to get the “Rock Steady SS Stainless Steel 1/4" to 3/8" Bushing Adapter/Tripod 50mm Diameter Desmond“, which moves this plate up just a bit higher so its handle doesn’t collide with the star adventure parts.

This is a huge upgrade from the included (yet still well made) mount that came with my tripod head. I needed a clamp that would open wider than my factory one, and this fits the bill perfectly. It is also very finely made with nice fit and finish, tight tolerances, and a smooth finish. My only "complaint" is that the knob is too long and sticks out so it can get caught on things. I worry that it could break off, as I have experienced that in the past with other clamps as a wilderness landscape photographer whose tripods take a serious beating. However, since that is entirely subjective to my own uses, I will not deduct a star for that alone. Overall, this is a super sturdy, versatile clamp. Would buy it again and recommend it to others.

For a fraction of what the name brand companies charge, you get great products from Haoge. I like the long tightening mechanism that puts it out away from the camera, making operation easy. The lightness, fit and finish won't compare to a Kirk, Really Right Stuff, or Acratech -- the knobs are smaller and don't actuate as quickly and smoothly -- but for a lot of non-critical applications, these products work just fine. They are not flimsy, like some lower cost clamps and plates. The lower cost allows you to equip your whole stable of equipment with the clamps and plates without going broke in the process.

Solid construction, safety "stop-grooves" for Arca Swiss plates from Wimberley, RRS, etc. Built-in bubble level. Heavy duty construction, mm rulings for ease of reproducing placement of telephoto lens for optimal balance. Nice long stem on locking screw makes it easy to attach camera for those of us with thick clumsy fingers, though you have to be a bit cautious to avoid banging it when hiking.. Mounts easily to 3/8" thread on monopod. Excellent purchase.

I recently got an old Tiltall brand tripod in a lot of vintage camera gear. It's such a nicely made tripod but it only has an old 1/4-20 screw. I use all Arca-swiss compatible plates. This Haoge 64mm clamp adapter fits the top very nicely, matches the round shape, and the tightening adjuster clears the tripod head with plenty of room to spare. It's well-made, sturdy, and everything you could hope for at a great price to boot.

The Haoge 64mm Screw Knob Clamp Adapter allowed me to securely attach my camera to my Avilla fluid head on my Innorel TS90 tripod. One reason that I purchased this adapter was due to the easy to access extended Arca Swiss tightening knob, which the other adapters did not have. Destiné à remplacer le plateau trop large d'une rotule Gitzo.Bon produit, parait solide et bien fait, finition excellente.Seul défaut, aucune vis de fixation, juste un micro-adaptateur 1/4-3/8Les vis au pas américain sont introuvables, il va falloir bricoler !Par chance il y a 2 trou supplémentaires, pour y passer des vis standards ca va être plus facile.La longue tige de commande de l'étau est très pratique, indispensable dans le cas de ma rotule.

Commandé pour la longue vis de serrage, cet étau est de bonne qualité et correspond bien à mon attente : pouvoir y fixer un gros boitier avec une poignée de serrage bien accessible ( elle dépasse du boitier) !Petit point négatif : j'ai eu du mal à le fixer sur ma rotule avec la vis d'origine, et j'ai du utilisé une vis dont je disposais déjà dans mon stock de "pièces détachées"Cela lui coute une étoile, mais je reste très satisfait du résultat obtenu.

Durch die runde Form ist die Halterung größer als sie sein müsste. Wirklich unschön ist aber, dass schon nach weniger als 2 Jahren die Flüssigkeit in der Libelle komplett verdunstet ist. Somit ist keine Blase mehr vorhanden und die Halterung kann auf dem Kugelkopf nicht mehr gerade ausgerichtet werden.

This product seems to be very well made, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy using it. But, I was disappointed when I had to spend another $16 to buy the little black adapter for it to work properly with my tripod. Couldn’t this have been included?I’ve been asked to review this product too...

一脚に取り付けてみました。重厚感がありフィッティングもよい感じです。三脚用のアダプターと同じサイズにしたので、カメラ側部分の取替えの手間がなくなり楽になりました。
