aFe PowerTakeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System w/Pro DRY S Filter, #TR-1007P, Polished

I’m so happy with this intake. It was so simple to install once I got it put together (the instructions are terrible so look up a video on YouTube). I’m not sure if there’s a much of a power increase, but I feel like the throttle response is much better and the sound is absolutely phenomenal. Plus knowing that my car breathes better is a plus as well.

Had purchased and installed this unit more than 3 years ago. Have never been disappointed with the performance or the fact that the filter can go for a very long interval before needing to be cleaned. Only wish I could have a unit like this on my Toyota Solara. Would highly recommend this unit. Very well engineered and will last the life of your vehicle.

I have been using the intake for a week now, that’s what I gave it only four stars for mileage. I’m not sure if I am saving any gas yet. Honestly, it sounds so freaking good, I’m always jamming on the pedal! I highly recommend this intake, I think it is definitely going to save fuel once the newness of the “racecar” sound wears off.

Everything was excellent, the packing was great and product was as described I an a very happy customer.. I will be back.

This Cold Air Intake is made very well and looks great inside the engine compartment of my 2009 Acura TL. Very good fit with no fabrication needed to install. The only thing that I had to do was cut the length of the 5/8" breather hose to avoid kinking. However, thank goodness that I am mechanically savvy and no my car like the back of my hand because the directions that were provided leave much to be desired. It is missing several key steps in the installation process and the pictures in the instructions were blurry and the depictions unclear. The instructions do not mention whether or not to leave the existing air duct from the front of the car that goes under the battery to the left side of the filter. I have left it in for now until I contact aFe for more information. Additionally, the instructions/owners manual that I received does not detail at how many miles should the filter cleaning maintenance to be done. With all that, I fortunately took my time and laid out the parts on my garage floor in a way that made sense to install so, that average 60 minutes time to install actually turned into 90 minutes.Performance: The car started right up and runs smooth at idle. The engine responded very smoothly when the accelerated was depressed and let out an intimidating growl when I really punched it. The increase in power seems modest at best. I have not driven the car far enough yet to determine if there is an increase in fuel economy. I will respond back to this post for an update.Overall...Four Stars Average over all categories...

This thing is awesome! Before I would have never thought it would do much to my accord. Now I raced my dad in his 2017 corvette ZO6 and we are almost even! Also raced my buddy in his Supra with 1200 hp and he barely pulled on me. I started catching up in the end about 198mph... Takeda you rock!!!

Only thing I don’t like is if you never installed one before. It comes disassembled and for someone who don’t know how to do it. It’s a pain to find a video on how to put the rubber thing on the tube. No instructions how to do that

my car is more responsive and it improves 2-3mpg on highway,nice throttle sound on accelaration..took me about 1 hour to install.

Works amazing ! As described if not added more power than it says! Instructions sucked also didn’t get that cool red label on my pipe but what ever, other than that makes the car sound like a gtr it’s amazing!

It sounds good but your going to need a nice exhaust setup to really complement this product not the best when outside is high temperature night time is where this thing shines
