Our family, Dermitzakis Family, has a 60-year-history of viticulture in the region of Heraklion, Crete. We cultivate the native grape variety Sultana. We use traditional cultivating techniques to ensure that the soul of our vineyards remains intact throughout the whole production process. During April and May we hand pick the most tender grape leaves of Sultana grape from the family vineyards in the region of Heraklion, Crete. We carefully select whole leaves, free of damage, from vines that have not been sprayed with pesticides. Our vine leaves have a light green color and a supple texture.
