These seem like well-made chef's pants, but absolutely do not believe the size chart. The "M" size is supposed to fit up to waist 40", but it's nowhere near that big; maybe 32". I'm not close to 40" but the "M" size was very much too small.*edit* - received my "L" pair today. The size chart says it's good for waist sizes up to 43". There is no possible way a person with a 43" waist could put these on without ripping them. I'm 34-36 in jeans (depending on the brand and style), and these L chef's pants are a little snug on me. Now, I will say that they're nice and the imprint is crisp, and the fabric feels good. Also they're not overly long, almost perfect for my height.

To the company that design these pantsI love this material and the designHowever, I order a medium and this was way too HUGE for a medium, the maker of this pants could have gotten 3 more medium pants from this one pants.. please designers, consider checking with the standard clothes size measurements before cutting and labeling of sizes.FYI.. most people shop online because of not having time to go in-store, what people like me don't have is the patience to be purchasing and returning
