nice poster - poor shipping container
Very nice - it's what I expected. Paper is thick and I can't wait to fill it out. I subscribe to an online ancestry company - but it isn't possible online to view entire tree at once - this will make it easier to view at a glance. The colors were a little lighter than looked online (I'm actually happy for that) I took another reviewer's suggestion and bought erasable pens to use.I bought 2 posters - they came rolled up each in it's own plastic sleeve - inside a long box which was 'NOT' sturdy and it arrived crushed and open. They should either use a hard tube or a box of stronger corrugated cardboard. Thankfully posters were fine. Product nice - shipping was fast - BUT PACKAGING WAS BAD.

Excellent ancestry wallchart.
Easy to use. Beautiful display. Plenty of room to write in the info. I write names, birth place & date, death place & date. This helps us see how ancestors traveled, migrated & met groups.

This is a great way to quickly see the gaps in your genealogical research. It's also an easy way to view your family tree if your family is "traditional." One problem I've noticed is that the color is so dark in some boxes that I have to use black ink when filling in the info; pencil is not an option. There are always little revisions to be made--so correction tape is going to show up. If I were buying it again, I might go for the one that is not in colors, but it certainly is easy to see in color! I like it a lot. Thank you so much.

love it as well
I got this for my birthday recently, and was so excited about it, I got it for several family members for Christmas. The ones who have seen it, love it as well. It is blank, so you have to do the work and fill it in, but I love the color coding, how it can help you quickly get to the right branch you are working on.I also love the fact that it lists out the generations, and that it goes 9generations, to your 6th great grandparents! There is plenty of room to write, and nice enough to frame. I highly recommend it!

Nice chart, arrived damaged.
I loved the chart itself, but even though it was shipped in a box, the bottom edges were wrinkled in 3 or 4 spots, and the top as well. It would be better to ship it in plastic tubing instead of plastic wrap.

Beautiful with great quality.
This is a beautiful chart. The paper is heavy and smooth and it is very nice when you write on it. The colors really help with following the maternal and paternal lines. This is going to help with my research, but it is nice enough to hang a wall when I not writing on it. It is beautiful. Arrived rolled up in a long skinny square box instead of a tube, but it arrived pristine and undamaged. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a nice fan chart.

Came creased, no tube - TWICE
The poster came in clear plastic wrap, NO TUBE to protect it. So naturally it was bent and creased. I ordered a replacement/exchange. The new one arrived the next day in the same fashion, no tube, creased and with worse dents than the first. Not framable or as a nice gift. The poster itself is very nice. Colors and matte finish are beautiful.While it suffices for my use as I am just wanting a large poster to work out my tree, not frame or display. But not worth price paid! I shouldn’t have to “iron it” to get the creases out as other reviewers mentioned. Disappointed and feel like I wasted money. Not worth the hassle of sending back again when it will only arrive the same way.

Liked so much I bought Another.
This is a great genealogy chart. It took me a while to finish but I took it a step further and used photos for the first five generations. Took some work getting the photos just the right size but it really added to it. I also used a label maker for the names and dates, trimmed down to the letters. Since I couldn't fill it out completely I still consider it a work in progress. It came out well enough my husband wanted one for his family and friends are going to order their own chart. This also comes with free online individual charts in fan and other shapes. It fits well into a 24x36 frame and helps others who aren't into genealogy to visualize what your trying to explain to them. I would recommend this to anyone who does genealogy.
