It works
Can't beat it for the money - a good value. I got the 45 lb. model and it is easy to shoot right out of the box with no modifications or extras. Could shot it just with a target sight. Wish I had bought the 55 lb. model because I can pull more than the 45 lbs.

First Recurve
First recurve and happy with it. #50 is plenty enought to target shoot or hunt. Quality is great.

You WILL need a stringer!!!
Beautiful, well constructed bow. However, there was nothing in the description that said you would need a stringer for this bow. I warped one of the limbs trying to string the bow without a stringer, but my son-in-law was able to take the warp out.

I'm a noob with archery but I'd say it's very nice and a great value. I will pass on that it did not come with a stringer, felt or any sort of arrow rest. Those are things to consider as but the time you get arrows, glove, and everything else, you'll probably have as much in all that as you will this bow. Overall, I am very happy with the bow.

Cheap Chinese made bow
I’ve shot PSE bows in the past that were excellent so I got my son the 50# PSE Nighthawk as a starter recurve for his birthday. Long story short, it broke in 9 months of infrequent use. He treated it with respect due a weapon and hung it up when not in use. I contacted PSE without success so no more of this cheap crap for us. I had bought myself an identical bow so we could shoot recurve together and ended up giving him mine, all the while hoping that it doesn’t crap out too. Never again PSE.

Listen, the bow is ok! Seems alright...However!! Why the heck is it so HARD to determine whether something is made in the US or abroad??? If Amazon could be straight forward, up front, and completely transparent with origin of product manufacturers, life could be easier. Shame on you PSE. Thought I was buying an American made product.
