This thing is awesome!
I don't write reviews but thought I would for this. Much higher quality than I thought it would be. I saw the mentions about the tips falling off so I super glued them before starting.First set of throws went about 60 yards! It takes no time to learn, and you can get accurate very quickly. My favorite thing to do is throw off a hill as far as I can.I did break off one of the points because I threw it so far it hit the road at the end of our property(!). Just carve down the shaft and reset the point.He included a spare set of points and even though-through how to telescope the tube packaging.Now curious to try the other forms.Totally worth the $ and would be an excellent gift for a guy who likes to tool around the yard trying out historical things but be warned- the darts fly waaaaay far!

I just took my new Nanticoke Atlatl spear-thrower & three five foot fletched darts outside to try them out - great! I really enjoyed using it! It will take one a little time to adjust on how to use the spear-thrower with the spear-darts, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be wanting to use it all the time! Its a good challenge in learning how to best aim & use distance, using the same concepts from archery,as far as aiming & distance, but learning how to let the spear-thrower do the work for you - it takes alot of the stress off your arm, and lets you concentrate on developing your throwing technique. This is a well made Atl-atl spear-thrower & spear-darts. I would recommend this Nanticoke Atatl & Three Five Foot Fletched Darts to anyone looking to start off learning how to use a spear thrower. For that matter, I would recommend it for intermediate users too!

Atlatl quality problem
Upon receipt, the metal tip of one if the projectiles had come off in the box. The other arrows did the same given a little twist. The product looks ok otherwise, but requiring repairs upon receipt is annoying. Maybe the makers have a glue problem

Wonderful product
Came in great condition looked to me like the wood was untreated other than how it manufactured but I like that now I can stain it my self it throws great and is a great value

Two good darts, one not so good.
The package arrived undamaged and looking fine, so the issue with the dart was not from shipping. Two of the darts are fine, but the third one has just over a one inch bend in it (when laying on a flat surface, the mid point is a little over 1" off the table). Basically I ended up with two darts and a useless stick.
