A pain to assemble!
The good thing is there's no hardware or tools needed. The bad thing, I would have preferred hardware and tools. It took a long time to assemble this because there were so many pieces that had to fit into each other. It took the longest to put the little poles into the plastic end pieces. All 6 had to line up just right for them to go in. Literally took me a few hours to put this together by myself. And I have a blister on my thumb from trying to push the poles in when they really don't want to go. It looks cute for my craft room and I think it will be sturdy enough. But next time I'll just pay more for easier assembly. :)

Sturdier than expected
Seems to hold up pretty well. We have only had it for about a month, so not sure how durable but it is fairly sturdy. It also holds a lot! Currently using to hold toys, so I put it in a corner for safety, just in case!

You’ll need some muscle and a rubber hammer…
The tube fitting into the plastic is VERY tight. Full it is safest in a wall corner. Assembly into three separate units first, and then do final assembly with tubes only. Before use it needs rubber hammer to all assemblies to insure tubes are fully into the plastic pieces!

Good product
Bought it to store games and craft supplies. The assembly was easy to do even if you didn't have instructions you could figure it out. It is sturdier than what it would seem at first glance and what I was hoping for. I would buy again and recommend, it's very light weight so it's very easy to move around. The bins I got at dollar tree and they fit perfect!

Great little shelf, smaller than it looks
Most importantly: be careful if you plan to put this in a child’s room. It tips over very easily!!!That said, for my purposes, I’m happy with this purchase. I just gave it one star off for being smaller than it appears. The outside dimensions are accurate-ish (H 60.5” W 30.5” D 12.5”) but the cubes are not as large as I thought they were. (Math was never my strong suit.) The cubes are 14” wide and 11” tall.Assembly is either frustrating or hilarious, depending on what kind of person you are. It takes some patience, but not a lot of strength. It took me about an hour, not counting the time I spent reevaluating my life choices. I wouldn’t drink while you’re doing it, but you may want one afterwards. Oh, and a rubber mallet (or cloth-wrapped hammer) is crucial. It’s about the only way to get all the poles in the holes.Once you get it together, it’s EXTREMELY lightweight and easy to move around. That’s great except that my 8-pound cat immediately knocked it over until I put heavy things on the bottom shelves. I still don’t think I’m going to put anything breakable on it.All in all, though, I needed decent space to put a variety of items and this was a good purchase for the price.

Buy multiple at the same time
I got one set and it worked out great so I decided to get another one, it was slightly different the cloth dividers were very different the second time which limited what could be changed with putting the shelves together. So if you are thinking you may need two get them at the same time.

PIA to assemble
It looks like it is simple to put together, and it kinda is...as long as you have a rubber mallet to pound In the metal poles and several hours to assemble the bloody thing. You'd don't need instructions, just patience and to make sure the noise won't bother others . Honestly, it's a 25 buck bookcase and I didn't expect much, it seems sturdy for light storage, but I'm not going through that again.

So much better than your thinking they could be.
If you read the instructions and sort set up first to make sure you’ve got the end caps and center piece right so you don’t mix them up and build the bases first it’s so easy to put together. Don’t skip the lay out of parts. Once put together it’s put together.A rubber mallet and a light hand is something that I would highly recommend and makes it a super easy construction. I put together three in one evening.Put two of the self base rods in the base Fabric panels and the side rods in the side panels first. Then constructed the shelf layers. End Cap then inserted the fabric/two rods pre put together. Then the two center rods so you have all 4. Add middle support center piece. Then the rights side of the shelf layer with pre constructed fabric with two rods and then the two center rods and then the right end cap. Constructed all shelf layers this way. Then worked from the bottom up adding the sides and centers walls I had already added rods to the fabric. Attach the next shelf layer. Lightly tap each area of rod support with a rubber mallet on the next layer. Never on the metal rods. In this way I was able to do it all myself and construct all three selves I bought in an hour or two.I can’t stress enough lay out your pieces and double check that end caps are end caps and the center is the center. As you build double check before you attach the plastic rod end caps and center. Once put together they are structurally sound and tight. I used one as a shoe rack and blanket holder and the others for kids toys and books. Very happy and completely blown away at the quality and structure of these with the 4 rod shelf construction. If you need a totally flat surface you would need to add something.Perfect for full size fold bins as well. With all things amazon make sure you received the product shown in the listing. There should be 4 rods as the base of each shelf area for this product.
