I bought these brakes as an upgrade, best money ive spent on an upgrade. They come with the adapter if you need it. Plenty of extra screws, which is nice. They didnt squeek or drag. The quality is great, the install straight forward and adjustment was easy. I ride my bike 13 miles to work and 13 home. So, my equipment gets full use. These brakes surprised me in how good they felt stopping. So much better than stock!!

Installing the rear brake was a bit of a pain because I had to cut the tube to route it through the internal spot on my bike. I have a large Schwinn Standpoint. The brakes and derailer are the only things I haven't upgraded. These new brakes seem to be a huge improvement over the mechanical disk brakes I had. I'll go out on the trailers soon and update this review with riding experience but so far they look great. After bleeding the rear brake seem to stop well. I will have to shim the rear brake caliper up a bit because it's rubbing the disk but no big deal. So far I am happy with my purchase

Honestly much happier with quality and ease of install. For the price of these, it has incredible value. I decided to upgrade my son’s 24” bike with these. I bought the kit that came with rotors but ended up leaving the existing rotors. It was a direct fit with no modifications needed. The kit felt solid after install, so bleeding doesn’t seem necessary yet. I only took off 1 star because the bleeding nipple seems to be different than other kits. The hoses are long because it’s installed on a kids bike. If I figure out how to shorten the hose, I’ll order another for our electric scooter and electric bike.

I am giving this five stars as the quality is very good and the bolted on and fit perfectly. They have tremendous stopping power and make no noise. They are a great value! However, the hoses are too short to fit any of our e-bikes. The hoses can't be routed out of the way. It is my fault that I did not measure the old ones first. I will try to find longer lines as the brakes and rotors work perfectly and vastly improve the stopping of the bike. Also, be aware that they do not have the safety switch that shuts off the motor when you apply the brakes.

Got this to repair our electric bike, and they worked perfectly! The TOBWOLF front and rear cable disc brakes were exactly what we needed. Installation was straightforward, and the quality of the aluminum alloy calipers and 160mm stainless steel rotors really impressed me. The braking performance is smooth and reliable—better than expected at this price point. We've tested them on a few rides already, and they hold up great under pressure. Love the kit, and we’ll definitely buy it again if we need another set. Highly recommended for mountain bikes, folding bikes, or e-bikes!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This kit is fantastic! It includes everything you need. I had a cross threaded frame bar and boom the kit had it! I needed an extra screw... Kit had it with loctite blue already on it! This thing even has new rotors! I left mine on as they were still in great shape. I retrofitted these to my 80 pound homemade ebike and my braking power went from totally dangerous to really good just replacing my front brakes. The braking was so good I also replaced the rear brakes and now I can stop really confidently now! It's really a massive improvement over my friction brakes with disc rotors. It comes with loads of spacers to fit a cast number of applications. I had to put the bike on a stand to be able to spin the wheels and tweak the brakes to get everything dialed in without rubbing/squeeking I've been learning a great deal about bikes with my ebike conversion but if you need to I doubt a bike shop would charge that much to install as it is such an easy conversion. Definitely worth the upgrade!

The mechanical brake kit works well on my bike. Braking with dual piston calipers worked better than the old single one this kit replaced. a good purchase.

Not happy with product, they have it designed so that if you want the labeling (reservoir) facing up you must put front brake on left side and back brake on the right, which is ass backwards. So I installed them upside down to get them the right way hopefully it doesnt affect the use. Hopefully they don't all come this way and it was just installation error when assembling this one at factory.

Front brakes on my kona went out, caliper seals were gone. Was cheaper to buy this kit and I will say, what a great deal. They worked great right out of the box and a very simple install.
