These dices are so good you can eat them right out of the jar!
I found that this product works very well in salads, soups and stews! I even added them to my homemade focaccia. Really delicious! I also added them to a trail mix that I make with a variety of dried fruits, grains, and nuts. The tomato dices added a little zing to the trail mix! I also like the packaging. It does a good job of keeping the product fresh and is easy to store in the cupboard. Keep up the good work! I certainly will buy it again.

Handy
Great product. Easy flavorful way to add to soups, stews or pot of beans. As a single person it's hard to keep fresh vegetables always available so I've found keeping dried handy, plus no prep!

Nice product!
I like to have dehydrated veggies on hand, to throw into an impromptu soup (when I don't have any fresh veggies on hand and I don't feel like going out to the store). They are also a great way to add veggies to your diet - throw a handful into rice or quinoa while it's cooking, or reconstitute some and add to a meatloaf you are making, etc. Ideally I'd love to buy the pre-made soup starter, but since I'm allergic to peppers I have to buy carrots, onions, celery, and tomatoes separately and make my own blend. I ordered all four, and two of them came to me with the safety seals broken - one of them was completely ripped off and stuck up into the cap, and the other had a tear and hole in it. After 45 mins in the phone with A--z--n trying to get a replacement or refund, and getting nowhere, I contacted the manufacturer directly. They were nice enough to ship replacements to me in time for the easy post-Thanksgiving turkey soup that I've got planned for this weekend. The other two arrived fine, safety seal intact. I've already used them a few times, and I've concluded that Mother Earth makes a nice product that they stand behind. I put carrots, tomatoes, and celery in yesterday's plain rice and it made a nice confetti rice side dish. I also threw some dried tomatoes in a chicken lentil soup I made last week - also yummy. Earlier this week, I made some homemade doggie treats that called for carrots. Since I didn't have any fresh carrots, I reconstituted some dried ones in hot water, and added them to the recipe. The treats came out great, and after gifting them to a relative for her dog, I got a text saying that her pooch went crazy for the treats! So two thumbs (and paws) up!!

Great Flavor, but Be Prepared for Larger Pieces
I recently picked up a quart jar of Mother Earth Products Dried Tomato Dices, and overall, I’m quite pleased with the quality. The tomato flavor is rich and concentrated, which is exactly what you want from a dehydrated product. My Experience: Size Difference: I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the pieces are much larger than expected. If you are looking for a fine "dice" for something like a delicate sauce, you might find these a bit chunky. They are more like substantial tomato bits than small granules. Quality & Freshness: The 9-ounce jar is packed well, and the tomatoes themselves are bright and clearly high-quality. No dusty residue at the bottom of the jar. Rehydration: They rehydrate beautifully. They hold their shape well without becoming mushy, which makes them excellent for heartier dishes. Best Uses: These are perfect for adding to soups, stews, or even a slow-simmered marinara where a bit of texture is welcome. They also work great tossed into a bread dough for a sun-dried tomato loaf. If you don't mind the larger size, the taste is definitely superior to most canned options. Just be aware that "dice" is a bit of a generous term here! Tip: If you need them smaller, a quick pulse in a spice grinder or food processor while they are still dry works wonders before adding them to your recipes!

Very versatile and convenient
The taste is great and the price is good. Makes it easy to add to many foods, enhance the flavor and add necessary nutrients to your diet.

Great flavor
If I was good at cooking I'd probably try to use tomato paste or actual tomatoes. But I'm lazy and this is almost just as good. Unlike actual spices it doesn't last forever and will slowly turn black but I use it quickly enough while it's fresh and have bought it 2-3 times already.

Wow much better than I expected!
Didn't have much in the way of plans when I ordered this... throw some into soup, etc. Recently I stopped eating ketchup, that stuff on the shelf is mostly sugar and corn syrup. I was fixing homemade french fries and saw the tomatoes sitting there... ketchup! But how? Quick look on youtube... nothing. A lot of videos about using a bushel of tomatoes to cook down over 12 hours... Time to reinvent ketchup... Half a cup of tomato flakes, one teaspoon of garlic powder, one teaspoon of onion powder, grind everything to powder. Add some good olive oil, some vinegar and brine from pickled hot peppers, just a little water to reach good consistency... ITS GREAT! AND NO SUGER! I challenge you to invent your own! Definitely ordering more! Oh... its great in soups and pastas too!

Great product
Super nice and easy to use.. No worries about spoiling tomatoes.... Highly recommend..Great in sauces or soups... You can hydrate and put on salads too. Here's a recipe please try... My Husband loves it... Pasta w/ Tomatoes Angel hair pasta (3 to 4C cooked), 1/3 C Dried tomatoes-add 3Tb.water and stir to hydrate to soften a little.2 Tb.fine choped parsley adds nice coloring, 1/2 C shaved or coursly shredded Parmasen Cheese, 1/4 to 1/3 C olive oil (light works best the darker has almost too strong a flavor) Toss pasta while warm, tomatoes, and olive oil, season with salt and pepper to taste, springle with cheese and serve... Great as a meal w/ rolls or crackers or a nice as side I hope you try and let me know... Thanks A Knodel
