Amazing Quality Vinyl Boxset
This review is for the Roxette Box of Trix 4-Piece Vinyl Boxset released on the 11th December 2020. This is a beautiful quality boxset which houses 4 vinyl LP’s each colour coded, red, green, pink and purple! This is not new Roxette material, since Roxette are no more as the lovely amazing powerful female singer behind Roxette Marie Fredriksson died in December 2019, so this release comes a year after her death.Per Gessle the male singer songwriter of Roxette went through his archives to put together this boxset of previously made music, mostly demo’s (in which Marie sings, whereas previously The Per Gessle Archives were demo’s sung only by Per and this included his Roxette demos) I imagine Per having a big bag like Mary Poppins, just reaching in and out pops out a forgotten gem!Whilst some are supposedly unreleased, I admit I have heard them over the years and some have been B-sides on UK CD single releases but the hidden gems such as the demo of The Big L with Marie is worth buying the boxset alone for, I waited so long for the Per demo as did other fans after hearing and seeing the demo recorded on The Making of Joyride… This boxset also has The Abbey Road recordings from 1995 on it which include ‘The Look,’ ‘You Don’t Understand Me,’ ‘Listen To Your Heart’ and my all-time favourite the Beatles cover of ‘Help.’ Other gems on here are for me the demo of ‘I Remember You,’ a favourite track of mine from the 1991 release of the album Joyride and ‘Things Will Never Be The Same,’ and ‘Watercolours In The Rain,’ For me the Joyride album will always be my favourite release from Roxette, it is what made me become a fan back in 1991! Also on this boxset are two previously unreleased tracks recorded for Good Karma the last Roxette album release in 2016, these are ‘Let Your Heart Dance With Me,’ and ‘Piece Of Cake.’ The first I like as it is classic pop Roxette, the second I really don’t rate! There are also some Spanish tracks on here such as ‘Quisiera Volar’ (Wish I Could Fly), ‘Alguien’ (Anyone) and ‘Lo Siento’ (Salvation) originally recorded for the 1999 Roxette release Have A Nice Day (the Spanish release) the fourth Spanish track is ‘Tu No Me Comprendes’ (You Don ́t Understand Me) which was recorded in 1996 for the Spanish Roxette album ‘Baladas En Español, why this song was omitted from the original line up I don’t know because it really is beautiful to listen to.The quality of the outer box is well made, and each vinyl is housed in its own colour combination, there is a beautiful booklet inside with pictures and Per’s talks about each song on each vinyl. You know what would have been a nice added touch, a giant poster to frame!I can’t comment on the sound quality as I have not actually played it, but in terms of adding to a music collection, it’s a must for a Roxette fan.

Fascinating and extremely well executed history of Roxette on 3 discs.
An astonishing and moving collection of songs. The early demos from Abbey Road are both heartwarming and heartbreaking, knowing that Marie's voice is with us no more. I was expecting slightly rough cuts of what later became the commercial product, but no, these early demos are jewels in their own right. Simple, many with just acoustic guitar, but so well executed. The other material is also superb. Highly recommended.

Roxette Forever
This is a bitter-sweet review. It’s a special moment when you buy or stream a new album of music from a favorite artist or band. It’s exhilarating to hear the first cords of track number one, blast into your eardrums for the first time.I’ve treasured these moments with Roxette. Their bubblegum pop brand of music has been with me since the late 80s and served as a personal sound track to my life throughout the years.Sadly, following the tragic death of Marie Freddrickson in December 2019, this album will mark the last occasion that fans can buy a new Roxette album containing new music. For the most part, this album is mostly comprised of rare tracks, live recordings and demos, although, there are two new completed tracks – ‘Let Your Heart Dance With Me’ and ‘Piece of Cake’ – where the vocals were recorded before Marie’s death and the mix was completed later.Personally, I already have some of this material in my collection, as I’m sure most Roxette fans will, but there are still plenty of Rox gems remaining in the collection to justify a purchase, raise a smile and hit the replay button, over and over.I adore this album and its an easy five stars, but because of the make-up and diversity, the album will offer different things to different fans, so it may not be as desirable for casual music lovers.

If you like Roxette, you will want this album.
Sadly, probably the last Roxette album to be released. One of the best groups over the last couple of decades and this album brings a history of the bands music from the beginning to the very end. In my collection Roxette will never be forgotten. This album is one of the best Roxette albums released and even includes one of my favourite Roxette songs, Joyride.

Lots of rare stuff in a great package. A real must for fans of Roxette.
After playing all three CD's there was only one single song that I didn't like. There is a wonderful song an out take from "Good karma" "let your heart dance with me" why was this an out take!? it is better than any thing on "Good karma".

Superb!!
The sound quality of the vinyl is outstanding and the overall package is lovely. Lots of familiar songs but all with little twists in different versions. Lots of difficult to find b-sides and other treasures. If you appreciate melodic pop songs then you wont be disappointed. Highly recommended

A New Look
A comprehensive of different mixes and alternate takes of some well-loved Roxette songs. Probably more for the completists but my wife loves it.

Roxette in a mostly more gentler mode.
Good value double album of alternative versions, accoustic tracks and some unreleased songs.
