I had been looking for something to change my life, and this product is what finally did it. This $5 plastic trash can arrived, and I could not wait to install it. Unboxing was an exciting event. The family gathered around the cardboard amazon box while I carefully removed the product from the shipping packaging.When it emerged, it was as if our world changed. Suddenly everything made sense. The world fell into perfect harmony, and I set the trash can into my basement office to collect recycling paper.

Like the size and color. It fits perfectly under our sink. (See Picture)

In 1977 I bought my first house, and promptly went to a local store and bought two Rubbermaid wastebaskets, one for the kitchen and one for the basement. I've gotten married, moved, and they followed me through the years to my current kitchen and workshop. The one in the workshop got more abuse and cracked a few years ago. The kitchen trash can is kept under the sink and is dragged in and out of its home 2 or more times a day. Finally, 37 years later (!), the top edge began cracking from being grabbed by the rim many times daily. Needless to say, I wanted another Rubbermaid. I couldn't find the right size here in town, but this was perfect. It's exactly the same height and width as the old one, so it fits perfectly under the sink. It seems even more sturdy than the original, and probably costs about the same, which means in 1977 dollars it's practically free. The color is a little darker than pictured, more like taupe. It's nice looking. What more could you possibly want from a basic wastebasket?

We didn't buy this for trash purposes. Haha! My son is obsessed with trash, trash jobs, trash trucks, etc. For Halloween he's going as a trash man. I got this for this "trick or treat" 'bag'. Super adorable and completes his outfit perfectly. For size reference, my almost five year old can fit inside it (as seen in pict). Super durable too!

The recycling bin is great for what I needed and it's solid plastic, sturdy, and nice and sleek with a good design. It holds my recyclable trash. It's about as good as you could expect from a plastic trashcan.The fun part is where I ordered a single blue recycling bin for $11, but was instead sent two and charged $28. I purchased this bin and the matching black 7 gallon bin. Two days ago, I recieved 2 recycling bins and my card was charged almost $30. The next day, I recieved a black bin which I thought was from my other order. Until the next day when the Amazon app notified me that my black bin has been shipped and will arrive soon.Now it seems that I was conned out of about $20 - I ordered two bins for a price of $11 + $9. After receiving 3 bins on different days and being charged $30, it looks like I have another one on the way. Unless it turns out to be another shipping mistake and I end up paying for like 9 bins.The thing I hate the most is that I'm spending my time fussing about with bins. I just wanted a set of bins for recycling and trash. Who knew it could be this annoying?Next time I'm just going to Office Depot or something.

Don’t order this item expecting a beige trash can. The color is a dull brownish-gray (taupe?).Additionally, it arrived plastered with inventory and shipping stickers, covered with snow, dirt and scuff marks because it wasn’t shipped in a protective bag or box! It will take me an hour of soaking and scrubbing to get all the stickers and dirt/scuff marks off.This ugly thing will be homed in the garage while I search for an actual 7-gal. *beige* trash can.

I purchased this as a recycling receptacle for home use and I'm happy with the quality. It's the perfect size for a household of two and has ample space to hold recyclables for a few days without filling up too quickly. It's still pretty compact for how much it holds so it isn't intrusive in a small kitchen. Our previous bin was a flimsy plastic thing that slid around or fell over if I breathed near it but this one is extremely sturdy. It has a nice weight to it as it's made of a very good quality, thick plastic material so it always stays firmly in place. The material is completely suitable for its use and it's easy to clean. It seems super durable and I feel like it's going to last forever.My only small complaint is that it already had scratches and scuffs on it when I received it, quite noticeably in some places. It's still structurally sound and completely functional but it's always a little disappointing to receive a brand new item that already has wear. The lettering and recycling symbol on the front was also not printed on well and looks pretty shabby but all of these things are just surface imperfections and there was no major damage. It still seems built to last and does its job admirably so I'm not overly concerned about the aesthetic issues.

I received this trash can a little over a month ago and have loved it so far! I purchased it wanting to put it under the kitchen sink in my home. So I measured the space under there and compared it to the dimensions of this item, and it fits perfectly! The dimensions are accurate and the item looks exactly as pictured.It is also super lightweight and easy to empty the trash. We use this for our recycling so we don't line it with trash bags, but if you get a small-sized trash bag it will fit in this trash can.I also love how quickly it was delivered! I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a simple, reasonably priced trash can.

Have previously used bin bags in buckets for bins, but having just had a new kitchen fitted I wanted something more substantial and a better shape to fit in the cupboard. Bought two, one for waste and one for recycling and they are absolutely perfect for the job. Sturdy, practical and a lovely colour.

This is perfect for collecting my glass and carton recycling in my utility room, nice quality, easy to clean, great price, just what I was looking for

The bin is exactly what I ordered, it works and is sturdy.The price on this plastic bin is a little too much. A week after I purchased this I found one for $4. For something like this, quality is not a factor. It's not like a watch or a jacket. Also, standard garbage bags by Glad do not fit this as they are 50inches. You'll need to get bags at least 52inches wide.

If for ANY reason you decide you want to return your item, Please NOTE You will be responsible for return shipping costs.In my case, it will cost more to return the item than what it cost to purchase. When I let the company know this, no representative has bothered to respond to my email. Which is a clear indication that they don't care.I am stuck with an item that I don't want, because the color is different than what is shown.
