Bought this coffee because of the mold free, low acid, Smithsonian certified bird friendly, and lastly organic certification of this brand. The company is very transparent in the mold testing of the beans, how they produce the product while protecting the native birds. I've seen and watched many reviews on Java Planets taste and other qualities that make this coffee worth consuming. I for sure will continue to support this company for its quality product. I would love to see this company have a proceeds donation in the future to benefit a cause, like my other favorite coffee brand Grounds & Hounds that supports shelter dogs.

I never tried these beans before - the roasts , to me, were quite dark. I found them too strong for my taste and a bit too oily. I have been grinding fresh before making my coffee for years now and use precise measurements. I just couldn't get to "loving" these. It was a good value and I used them all. Like there is someone for everyone, while there is a coffee for everyone too - this was not for me. It might be "the one" for you!! Give it a try...

This coffee is smooth and does not upset my stomach.

This coffee is a bit more expensive than other "gourmet" coffee options. However, I have found it well worth it. The oils present in the bean of both varieties are ideal. You get a great cup each time and a full of flavor item. Try them out, you'll appreciate the difference.
