Nice baselayer
This is a very nice shirt. Good fit, comfortable, warm, and long enough to tuck in. Glad that I got it.

great mid layer
this is a good compliment to a ski jacket that does not have heavy insulation. It fits well and the way it's constructed you don't feel any wool 'scratchness'. 6'1", 175 lbs 40-41" chest and L fits well. I compared with another brand mid layer made with only synthetic materials and this one seems to better control your body temperature. the red is a bit more orange than red but somehow goes well with my HH Alpha 3.0 which is alert red. Not that you want to be matchy matchy anyway...

Great buy, sizing is perfect.
Great product! Sizing is perfect, I’m 6’2 245lbs and the extra large is perfect top and bottom, not too snug and not too loose. A little itchy at first, but I’m sure a washing will help with that. I put them on after they sat on my cold porch for a bit from delivery, they are holding the cold, so I’m sure they will hold the heat just as well. Nice quality and very nice stitching. Would buy again.

Nice Garment - A bit thin
The synthetic liner kind of negates the merino wool's odor fighting properties. Got the Commander Riker looking one for a steep discount. Not worth $110 by a long shot, but on sale for less than half price was a steal. Very thin baselayer, the merino wool layer can be measured in microns.

Not up to par for Helly Hansen
I already owned two sets of HH base layers for skiing. The newer versions seem to have a cheaper blend of merino wool they are not as effective. Cheaper product; same price. Oh well.

Very warm mid weight base layer
The media could not be loaded. Very warm polypropylene and merino wool base layer. Will use for skiing and cool weather hiking. Very well made. 225g fabric
