Liquid Alchemist, Raspberry Syrup, (5 oz)

Before the pandemic, I was a moderate drinker with healthy habits and a life. But now that that world is gone never to return the least we can do for ourselves is to mix the right drinks in which to drown our sorrows. And when you mix this delightful concoction with vodka aged in a whiskey barrel you get pure magic. It's not magical enough to make the pandemic deniers to go away but did you expect it to be? After I pass out from too many drinks it's the same thing at least for a little while.

The orgeat is fine, but there isn't very much of it in this bottle. Read the product description carefully--this is a 150 ml bottle, about the size of a typical bitters bottle. Pretty expensive for what you get.

I adore passion fruit, so had to try this. It is a bit sweeter and a little less tart than I would have liked, but not bad. We tried it on snow cones, and in mixed drink cocktails. In both cases it was felt by all to be a bit too sweet, but still tasty. In the case of the cocktails, we countered the sweetness by adding lime juice, and that worked well. Passion fruit syrups are hard to come by, so we are still glad to have it, but would rather have it more tart and passionfruit-y, then let me add extra sugar if I feel I need it.

Please be aware the ingredients in the Amazon product description did not match the ingredients on the product. These are the ingredients on the bottle I received: Almond milk (filtered water, almonds), sugar, sea salt, xanthan gum, sunflower lecithin.Charles, from Liquid Alchemist, remedied the situation quickly, professionally, and to my satisfaction. The Liquid Alchemist customer service excellent.

I was skeptical of buying this at first, and was hoping that it actually had some Tamarind taste rather than being all sugar.I was surprised when I received and tried this product as the taste was just what I wanted.After being in the fridge it got a little bit thicker, which made it better.I would recommend, and will be buying there other flavors!

I enjoy Tamarindo beverage, and the flavor. I've had the paste, but it's hard to mix into beverage. I've had the tamarinds in a box, and tried getting the seeds out and the pods open--it's not easy and takes forever. Now with the syrup I have all the original flavor in easy form. Excellent value for the money. We love Liquid Alchemist brand!

Tastes like blended fresh strawberries. Comes in handy when you don't have strawberries in the fridge. The bottle is pretty small. I added it to sparkling water and cocktails.

Delicious syrup with just the right amount of ginger to spice up any beverage or dessert. It's perfect to pair with whiskey, or to splash into your tea or toddy! Highly recommended - and their orgeat and coconut syrups are also super awesome!
