Best Ice maker out of 4
Sorry I couldn't get a photo, this is the best of 4 I have tried, you name it I have had my share of problems. I cleaned machine like it said to, I even cleaned it a few more times, I left it sitting open for 24 hrs prior to even plugging it in, I use it every day and have not had one problem, well except that I am light sensitive and I swear you can land a 747 aircraft because of the lights on this being SO BRIGHT! I was going to just put a little neutral nail polish over them and that would have worked perfect!, but I just took out my hole punch and used an address label which was white and already had glue on it, you may need tweezers to peel something and it fit perfect. By blank address label I mean I the ones you use in your printer, or the ones they send to you when organizations are fundraising I donate a lot so I always have plenty on hand. Now to the ice maker it produces solid cloudy ice I use a gal jug to fill it with water from my Brita filter on the faucet. In case you don't know according to Scotsman Icemakers cloudy ice is softest, they are the makers of the big machines that produce pebble ice or Sonic ice, I can tell you this ice doesn't met fast for comparison I get a coke from the only place in the world that make a perfect on McDonald's and within an hour the ice is gone! I like cold cold drinks a so I take my own Bubba Insulated Cup filled with ice and I can drink it as long as I want to without drink it being watery, I usually make my own iced tea and drink that, as you can tell I am a picky ice person I like to crunch my ice and clear ice DROVE MY HUSBAND MAD! but Not now! he says he can deal with this. I was using two bags of grocery store ice a day, at $129 a bag, bringing it home and running it through a Waring Pro IC-70 ice crusher and now I don't have to do that small or large cube makes no different I don't have to crush it any more. I made two canvas bags to hold my ice in one holds about 15lbs and one about 8 lbs that way I never run out of ice at all. You will save money! Simple to use and just wipe it clean with a soft cloth, and a trick if you do store the ice in a container is to lift basket almost out and tilt it to drain any excess water and your ice will not stick together. I think I have saved at least $400.00 so far and not to mention the time you gotta lug it in and out of the car, Buy it you won't regret it!

Worth the money and would definitely recommend.
The product arrived within 5 days. It was packed in 3 boxes and styrofoam, which helped “pad” it for the shipping process so it arrived without a scratch. I use distilled/purified drinking water as we have incredibly hard, mineral filled water that tastes funny. The ice comes out crystal clear and has zero taste to it. One fill of the machine (up to the fill line) makes enough ice to fill a gallon ziplock freezer bag. I make enough ice to fill a bag that I take from throughout the week, then empty the machine (you do have to “tilt” the machine back and forth to get any water that’s in the back of the unit out, but it’s easy to pull the drain plug on the bottom so you don’t have to flip it upside down) and store it on the counter with a towel slid under the lid so it can “breathe”, dry out and not get musty, while the towel prevents dust from floating into the opening. The machine seems to be a good quality, sturdy and incredibly easy to use. The noise level is minimal, the loudest part is the ice dumping into the tray and that lessens as more ice fills the tray (it’s not bouncing off the plastic basket as much.) I feel like it’s a reasonable price for the product you get. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone who asked!

Great ice, super easy, just slightly wet
This ice maker has been a perfect solution for our household that has stopped us from making weekly trips to the corner convenience store for ice. We make a pot of ice tea a day and, combined with other demands, our fridge ice maker could never keep up. Not to mention the fridge ice maker has been repaired four times in seven years. This is the perfect solution. We just make enough to keep the backup bucket in the main freezer full and then turn it off for a day or so.The machine is very easy to use. Honestly, more of the manual is legal safety stuff. This thing could have a rating of age 5 and up. I’ve only found one very small issue with the machine overall. The ice comes out a bit wet. It doesn’t matter how quickly I grab it after it’s made. It means that when I dump it in the bucket in the big freezer it ends up freezing together. It’s not difficult though to take an ice pick to it and it breaks apart easily. It doesn’t bother me enough to lower the rating.

Short Lifespan - 1yr
Built with poor quality. Nickel plating flakes off the evaporator columns into ice cubes, gears are rusting and falling apart into the ice bin/clean water, screws used to hold the plastics together are rusting. We've run the clean cycle, we've wiped down as much as we can reach with a cloth and small brush but the rust has now permanently stained the insides. Every use has little rust pieces fall down into the fresh water reservoir. Worked great for one year. If you want something that lasts, I don't recommend this item.
