Aquired Taste
I use to take all these ingredients in tablet form. Now I can take them all with 1 packet, which is more convenient for me. I empty the packet in a bottle of water, put the lid on & shake hard. It might be an aquired taste for most, but I'm pretty hardcore when it comes to my diet. This water enhancer is packed with organic nutrition!Gluten Free! Non GMO! I love this drink! It's worth the try for anyone looking for a superfood supplement :-)

Great Green Tea Drink
Great tasting green tea drink! Mixes well in a water bottle or shaker cup. The flavor is better than other matcha powders I've tried. This is good cold or hot.

If freshly mown grass brings back fond memories, you're going to love this. If not ...
Review of: Super Organics Superfood Water Enhancer• TL;DR: It’s likely beneficial if you can get it into solution and past your lips.I had just come back from a 6-mile hike in 104F temperature and I sure could have used a nice cold drink and energy boost and there, waiting at my doorstep, was the package from Amazon with the Superfood Water Enhancer for Energy.I immediately tore open the package (which is much smaller than it looked on the Amazon sales page) and tore, or tried to tear open, one of the packets. It wouldn’t tear open so I needed to cut it with scissors. The next two packages did tear open properly.I put 8 oz of cold water from my refrigerator in a cup, poured in the powder, stirred, and stirred, and stirred and stirred and was just left with a bunch of unappetizing clumps that I didn’t want to drink.Opened another packet and started stirring the water fast and then slowly added the powder to the water as I continued to stir as fast as possible. That was better than the first, but still not going down my gullet with all of those lumps. Hey, I was thirsty, not hungry. So, I brought out the electric whisk since my hand-held whisks were too large for a 12 oz glass and whisked at high speed for a minute. That was better but still not appetizing, so I whisked for another minute. You can see the results in the attached pictures. Now it was at least drinkable, or so I thought.I have been in the food industry for over 40 years. I’m a food scientist and I train chefs as well. I spent many years at trade shows, organics, natural, nutraceutical, etc., and have been presented with this type of product on many occasions. Typically, I run like hell.I like the use of ashwagandha, the literature on it is very compelling. The other ingredients are OK, the literature is mixed but nothing bad, just maybe not as good as claimed. So, I drank this.I won’t repeat here the words I uttered as I wondered what made me drink this after smelling it. I like matcha and Asian green teas, and they can both be described as having a “grassy” flavor“ but this tasted overwhelmingly like freshly mown grass. Further the stevia artificial sweetener taste (note I said “artificial taste”, stevia is natural) was overpowering and that, in combination with the grass was just, well not my cup of matcha.A mentor of mine, an MD and Ph.D. in nutrition once said “It ain’t nutrition until it passes the lips”. This was not going to pass my lips and so, no matter how beneficial it might be, I’m not going to drink it.To be fair, another saying in the food business is “de gustibus non est disputandum” which translates to “There’s no disputing taste” you like what you like, I like what I like. There’s no right, no wrong. A chacun selon ses goûts.If you like the taste of grass and don’t mind using a mechanical mixer to get this into solution, give it a try; ashwagandha is a good thing.OTOH, there are other ways to get the benefits of ashwagandha, mushroom, maca, and ginseng without having to swallow something which, to me, is totally unpleasant.

Decent but hard to unclump.
I don’t mind drinking water as it prevents me from drinking to many Cherry Cokes. I do think that variety is the spice of life, so I try various ‘Water Enhancers’ from time to time. I saw this brand, so I wanted to check it out, especially since it is gluten-free.One of the claims from this enhancer is that it gives you enhanced energy, which is something that I defiantly need after an intense cardio session. I found that putting this in a bottle of water after a long ride, really gets my energy levels boosted up, without some of the ‘jitters’ that you get if you consume some of the other energy drinks on the market.I found that this did not dissolve quickly as the packaging said. Tried a few times and always have clumps in them no matter how hard I shook them. One good thing is the flavor I have is citrus which tasted really good and didn’t taste ‘watered down’ (pardon the pun). It is a pet peeve of mine to have a water enhancer and the flavor is lacking.Overall a decent product and helpful if you are stick on your diet.

Taste Isn't Awesome
To begin with, the package arrived damaged, and with it being a perforated box, the packets were starting to spill out. Fortunately none of the packets were damaged beyond a little crinkling (instead of plastic, they are a thick paper material).Opening up a packet, I immediately smelled the matcha, and pouring it into my water, it had pretty much the consistency of matcha blended with stevia. To say it dissolved instantly in water is more than a bit of an overexaggeration, since it didn't even dissolve, and I had chalky clumps up the side of my shaker bottle. The taste...is matcha. With a hint of grapefruit. Matcha is a bitter tea, and grapefruit is a bitter citrus. Together, they do not work well to my opinion. It was also not a very strong flavor. Because it wouldn't dissolve, it was watery. Were it just a flavored drink mix, I would have given it two stars, but I decided on three because the ingredients are still sound. I just won't be having it on it's own again.

doesn't taste or look good, doesn't mix well
I'm all for superfoods, but this Super Organics Energy Water Enhancer doesn't taste good with just water. I tried hot and cold and could barely get it down. Gross, like Fear Factor. You taste the citrus in this moss green drink but the stevia didn't work for me. Mind over matter barely. The hubby liked it just a little bit more than me, but not by much and he likes Stevia. I suggest add to a smoothie or juice and it tastes way better. It does not blend well; got lots of chunks left over when mixing with a spoon. You do get renewed energy so it does work.

Strong and Sweet
Stevia provides a definite sweetness and an aftertaste typical of non-sugar sweeteners, even "organic" ones. However, the sweetener helps mask a (very!) strong taste. Do not under-dilute this stuff. I emptied the tiny packet of 1/5 ounce into about 5 ounces of hot water and stirred well, and it was still hard to take. As tiny as the amount is, I advise drowning it in a big 10-12 ounce smoothy or a big cup of tea or hot water. It does not dissolve readily, needing a great deal of stirring or blending.By the way, it contains 75 grams of caffeine, so note that. Check the ingredients if you are allergic to mushroom, acacia, any of the other exotic ingredients. As for its benefits, I am not running a thousand-person double-blind test against a placebo, so no informed comment coming from me.
