I'm new to welding and have just recently started as a hobby to get into. I went from using a 110v AC transformer welder before picking this Deko up. The Deko is leaps and bounds better in almost every single aspect. Very light weight, seems to be of great quality. It has exceeded everything I was expecting. Will update as time goes by. I use it mostly with a 6500/5500 watt generator on a 25amp 220v outlet. Works pretty great on regular 110v as well when using 3/32 rods!

Change out the ground clamp to a better one. Works okay on a 30 amp breaker 110 outlet burning 3/32" 7018 rods. Works excellent on a 50 amp breaker 240 outlet burning 1/8" 7018 rods at 115 amps. Great for a beginner or even a pro. Does what I need it to do, when I need it to, how I need I to.A fair warning, if you are plugging into a 110 outlet on a 20amp breaker use a surge protector right after the welder, before your extension cord, that way you don't have far to walk when it pops.Other than that, the leads aren't very long, but they work well, just change out that ground clamp. The one it comes with is not good, and will more than likely melt and overheat.To get the full power of this little beast, look into installing a 50 amp breaker and 240 plug in connection. It will be worth it.

I have burned 100 1/8 -6011 rods so far with machine running on 110v.So far you couldnt ask for a better weld.if the machine last through me biulding a 24 by 32 foot shop of all metal it is well worth the money.leads coud be a little more heavy duty.machine is so lite weight it is hard to believe.

It was a very good machine, but it stop working on the third time I used. send a message to Amazon they gave me the manufacturer contact and after a few emails, pictures and videos they sent me a replacement thanks

Received delivery yesterday::Budget low end machine as expected: Occasional use will be ok,don't try to turn $$$ with it. It is what it is.:Light weight cables 14 guage on 110/220: Electrode very cheap: Ground cable as cheap as you can get as expected* Made a few passes with it at 110v 20 amp setting6011 1/8 1/8 metal rod struggled increased amperage did ok. 1/16 rods works good....110v light metal only. 220v max out amperage 1/8 rod 1/4 plate does ok pwr cord/ lead get really hot. Wire is tooooo light. Not sure who paid who to get this passed. Don't expect it to perform like a lincoln miller that's BS. Hobbyist get by use.*PROS: price point, occasional use, portable 110 V OPTION,wired as 220 primary 110 adapter. As it should be most are reversed. Leads are fairly long enough.*Cons: wiring inadequate, electrode, ground clamp, durability, who will service/replace it up. These units are all very. similar CHEAPConclusion: buy it for what it is expect nothing more...shop around

Surprisingly nice welds from this little machine. I love the portability and the ease of storage. Have run 3/32 and 1/8” 6013 and 7018 rods with no problems at all on 240V. If you’re looking for a good DIY home machine, this is the one!
