This is by far my FAVORITE top and base coat - not too thin that it spreads and not too thick that is globs. The color that was included is one of my favorite! The temperature changing is really cool.

I'm totally obsessed
I have heard about DIY Hard Nails but I haven't tried them until I got this trio. This includes a base coat, top coat and the color Ice Queen Color Changing polish. This set is unique because it doesn't require anything to bond the nail polish first. So when I got this set I was intrigued to find out how well it would last without using that first step. I prepared my nails and applied the base coat first. Then I put on 3 coats of very thin color polish. I used a 25 watt LED lamp to cure and used it for 60 seconds for each base, color and top coat. I have also used this with another lower watt lamp and it cured fine on the 30 second setting. The top coat is very glossy. The color in the bottle is bright dark purple and when you apply it the polish changes to a lavender. The polish looks kind of goopy but when applying it, but it actually goes on nicely and thin. You can brush the nail several times and it doesn't dry up and streak dry streaks like regular polish. The color is also thick enough that it doesn't streak with light and dark coverage like some other plain color non -glitter polishes. This polish is a glitter polish and has 2 size glitters in the polish. A larger Hexagon glitter and smaller round glitters. This cured like a dream and it is comparable to other high end brands. This lasted about 12 days before I started having some chipping and peeling enough for me to redo them. The second time I used 2 coats and the color changing worked just as well with 2 coats as it did with 3. So basically I was obsessed with the color changing. I was always staring at my nails all day. They would go from the light lavender when warm to the dark purple when cold. When it is in between the nails are lilac. Sometimes just the tips are dark purple. If you have really long nails they will be purple on the ends and lavender on the bottom. I loved how fast it changed under cold water when you wash your hands. I received a discount on this DIY Hard Nails set in exchange for an honest review.

Love how the nail polish changes color with temperature change!
DIY Nails Gel nail is a great value the price! There are easy to follow instructions that can walk you through the process. I have never used uv needed gel polish before and was able to understand the directions.The "Ice Queen" polish is a very cool nail polish! I love how the color immediately changes from a pale lavender to a dark purple with hot or cold water! The nail polish also has the "large" glitter. It is the circle shaped glitter you find in some polishes. Personally, I have never liked the look and wish it wasn't in this polish, but that is my opinion. This gel polish was given to me at a low cost to test Zane return my personal honest opinion.
