Great kettle - easily goes onto its base, heats fast, looks nice
One of the reviews I read mentioned that it was difficult to put the kettle on it's base - that has not been not my experience. This kettle works exactly as other similar ones, you just set it over the base and it goes right on easily and with zero problems. One thing that is not too important (for me at least) but FYI - it is not an infinite selection of temperatures. The rotating dial might lead you to think this... The options are (in F°): 104°, 113°, 122°, 131°, 140°, 149°, 158°, 167°, 176°, 185°, 194°, 203°, 212° (using the dial) or 195°, 200°, and 205° using the preset temp button. In practice, here is how I use it: Press power on and the set temperature is always at the default 212°. Press the preset button and then turn the knob to select between 195°, 200°, or 205°. After you have selected one of these three preset temperatures, that is the default preset the next time and every time thereafter that you push this button unless you change it. So, after you have picked your preset temperature, you can just hit power on, hit preset once, then power again to start the kettle and away you go.Cool having the base show both the current temp and the set temp displayed at the same time so you can see status at a glance. There is also a little completion bar along the bottom that grows as it gets closer to full temp.Copper color / buttons are a bit bright/shiny but that is pure personal preference. The lid is plastic (the rest of the kettle is metal except for the handle for insulation) but it looks the same as the kettle and doesn't touch the water other than some condensation so having a plastic lid is definitely not an issue for me.Highly recommend if you are looking for a gooseneck kettle. This pairs perfectly with the insulated stainless steel Mueller French Press Coffee Maker 34oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JGBK6XV which is also a great product.

Perfection is rare
This little gem deserves more stars. I have limited counter space and the size is great. FAST! boils in no time and TURNS ITSELF OFF. The filter at the spout will.be great for brewing my Thai tea. The price is outstanding.

Fast, stylish, and works great!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this kettle daily for a few weeks now and really like it. It boils water quickly, and the blue LED light adds a nice touch. The glass design makes it easy to see the water level, and the handle stays cool.It does make some noise while boiling, but honestly, that’s pretty normal for an electric kettle — nothing bothersome. The auto shut-off works well and gives peace of mind.Overall, very happy with it. Great value for the price!

A fabulous little kettle
This might be the greatest purchase I’ve ever made. Not only was the price incredible it’s made life so much easier. I use it when I’m cooking, making coffee, etc. I use it way more than I thought I would because I bought it just for making tea. Now it’s used every single day multiple times. It’s also extremely attractive with the blue light. It boils the water extremely quickly.

Basically works, has some issues. (Died 9 wks, 3 days after purchase)
Issues:1. Temperature set control in 5C increments. Want 1 degree (C or F).2. The coffee presets only go down to 195F in 5F increments. No 185F or 190F.3. Removing the pot to pour stops the temperature hold. Have to hit the button again to regain temperature.4. Power down does not retain settings. Have to reset everything from scratch every use. That said, I'm keeping it mainly because it's such a handsome piece and my wife loves the look of it.It works well enough for me.UPDATE:After using it a while, I've gotten it pretty well figured out:1. Plug it in, turn it on with the power (main) button.2. Use the dial under the main button to set the temperature ( I set it to 185˚F).3. When it get to that temperature, it will beep and you can do your pour over.It will NOT hold temperature after the initial boil. If you want to hold the temperature:1. Press the "Hold" button, with whatever the desired temperature already dialed in.2. Press the main button again. You'll see a timer and a status bar at the top of the display.3. It will now hold the temperature for that duration.I'm using a large Aeropress, and I find the hold feature useful as follows:1. Follow the procedure for the initial boil above (I use 185˚F).2. Pour into the Aeropress, swirling the spout around to simulate a bloom.3. Set the hold for the temp (185) for however long you need.4. After two minutes, press into a large beaker (I use a french press glass.)5. Let everything sit until ready to pour cups (usually 15 to 20 minutes while I finish breakfast preparations.) The pot will keep the water temperature at the initial boil temperature.)6. When ready to serve, pour the remaining water into the beaker/carafe. That will warm up the initial shot, nicely.7. Pour and enjoy!Without the Hold feature, I'd either have to rewarm the remainder, or live with it all cooled down for however long it's been since I did the initial pour. This way, I'm reintroducing water at the original steeping temperature, and it warms things up nicely.Update Jul 13:It died. 9 wks, 3 days after purchase. Display flashes when I plug it in, then goes blank. Can't use it without the display. Too late to return.Junk it and buy something else, I guess. Too bad. I was getting real used to it.
