How do I get the shade to stay in place? It keeps coming down

Sounds defective. I bought this to replace one that wouldn't stop coming down and it worked for me. I would look into an exchange.

Does this come with a new c-shaped connector cover?

Not positive which cover you are asking about, but it does come complete ! Along with the cover to go over the attachment joint? Hope that helps?

If you car is a 2006-13 Rav4 it will work. There is a cover than comes off (where the screws go) , then you have set screws to lock it in place.
