As other reviews will tell you, the shoe might feel more narrow than others, but that's because this is a running shoe (meant to go forward in a straight-ish line) as opposed to a cross-training shoe (designed to allow for comfortable, multi-directional movements). With that in mind, I purchased an 11, whereas if it were a trainer, I'd go with a 10 1/2.I have gotten a lot of compliments on the shoe, and the color sparked debate amongst my co-workers. I ordered "maroon" to match our staff shirts, but my colleagues said it was more a "merlot" or "grape". Long story short, they're a bit purple as opposed to a true maroon. I love the design and the color but if you need maroon, order a different NB style, which for some reason has a truer color.Really comfortable enough to wear all day! I'll be purchasing these again.

5 because the curves of my feet fit better in the 11
Have not worn them extensively yet but I bought a 10.5 and an 11 (i wear ladies sz 12) and decided to keep the 11 over the 10.5 because the curves of my feet fit better in the 11. Normally I wear mens size 10.5 but the Tiger/Asics I have in a 10.5 were also uncomfortable in where they fit so I'm hoping with these New Balance, going the half size up will be more comfortable.

Tight fit
This is the first time I have bought some New Balance shoes and I figured I would give these ones a chance. They were a bit tight at first. I was only able to wear them for a couple hours a day at first until they were stretched out a bit. After I had stretched them out to fit my feet, they were great. After about 3 weeks I did noticed that the sole was coming unglued from the shoe in one spot, so these might be going back

Great casual shoe
Great casual shoes, they don't provide a ton of support, but I prefer that in this type of shoe. The fit was good and I have a pretty normal width. These didn't wear out as fast as I expected and with the material used, so that was nice. Good alternative to Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate-81s.

I like em but the maroon I purchased almost looks like a dark purple. Still alright though. Not the most comfortable shoes. I have several pairs of onisukas that I like much better, they look better, fit better, but I wanted to mix it up and got a pair of these. Still a decent shoe though.

Great shoes, just a bit snug
Bought these for my husband. He has an extremely large foot. Size 15. I bought the wide and they were still a bit snug width wise not length. He still loves them and with some wearing hopefully they will loosen up a big more

WARNING: Almost a whole size smaller
I love NB running shoes. I have owned multiple NB size 14 running shoes, so I was surprised to see how much smaller these size 14 were. I guess it totally depends on the model. Be forewarned, the 402 runs much smaller! Check out the photo of my older NB size 14 compared to the 402.

Bought this for my hubby and this has been his footwear of choice every weekend. He brought it with him to Japan and he can walk on it all day.
