Great for newborns, but tray does suck
I have used this chair for about 10 months now. I purchased it when my daughter was two months old. I bought this chair for reasons other than as a high chair and found that it worked well. The chair reclines back for a newborn and you can roll her around. I would put my daughter in this (without the tray) and roll her around the kitchen while I did dishes, prepped for dinner, etc. I would also roll the entire chair into the bathroom for when I needed to shower. I liked that she was higher up and was able to see more than when she was in her bouncy seat or swing, which sat low to the ground. I would sit her in front of the window to see the dogs and cars go by. This also worked well when grandma came over because I could put baby in the high chair and just pull her up to the dining room table and grandma could interact with her without having to hold her or bend down (grandma has arthritis and a bad knee). We have hardwood floors and I did not find that the wheels locked that often, but it does not roll easy and feels a bit like a malfunctioning shopping cart. When the chair is just sitting in between meals, my daughter will try to use it like a walker so I do have to lock the wheels so it stays put. When my daughter was old enough to start solids, we brought out the tray and started to use that. Yes, it is bulky and heavy. You have to take the tray completely off each time you take baby out of the chair. The tray does not sit or store easily because of the T piece at the bottom that is attached. I usually end up just putting it on the floor or in the sink. I have a double basin sink and the tray will cover most of the sink when placed on top.Cleaning it is not fun, but not too hard. The straps detach and the chair can be wiped down. I have used vinegar mixed with dawn and cleaned everything pretty well. The tray does have a plastic insert that comes off and cleans up easily. I keep white washcloths in the back basket and just use one each time she eats and give everything a wipe down with soap and warm water. This chair also folds down for ease of travel. It is still a pretty bulky, but we have packed it up in the car for the holidays and family dinners and it has worked well. We basically just put it on top of the stroller which lays flat in the back of the SUV.Overall, it's not a terrible chair. We use this chair a lot and I understand the complaints about the tray. It could use some improvements for sure.

It’s easy to clean and versatile
I don’t know why so many reviews are negative. I bought 2 of these. One for my house and one for my mil’s house. I have had them almost 2 years now. For an infant, you can strap them in and recline to bottle feed. I can put my son in it and wheel it around the kitchen so he can watch me cook. Now that he’s almost 2, he eats breakfast in it and watches tv! I love the storage basket underneath to put diapers, wipes and creams in. The tray has never been a problem for us. I love that I can just take the plastic top off and rinse it off in the sink. My son has never had a problem eating with the tray on and we have even raised the height of the chair and lifted the arms so that he could eat in it with us at our bar level table! Awesome highchair!

The heavy bulky tray spoils this chair!
I did a lot of research and comparaison before I purchase this highchair. Some people like having a multifunctional highchair, some prefer a fancy elegant one, or maybe one that matches their furnitures... but for having many children, I have learned that too many features aren't necessary the best. That's why I was looking for a confortable highchair that reclines far enough in case the baby falls asleep and takes a short nap, a chair that is adjustable in height, good wheels to move around easily, and of course a tray that I can put in and remove with one hand. This highchair met all my expectations and surprised me in a good way, except for the tray. Ahhhrrg the tray!!!! How come is it possible to build such a nice chair without paying attention to the tray? It is a heavy tray, really bulky because of the T bar underneath, that can't be snapped anywhere to the chair for storage. When you want to sit your baby in the chair, it is impossible to do so without removing the tray or reclining the chair for space. But you can't remove the tray with one hand while you carry your baby because it is so heavy and bulky that it falls out on the floor. You can't slide the tray either to open up the space a little bit because it doesn't stay snapped to the bars and you need your 2 hands to push and snap it well until you hear clics and make sure that it is securely attached to the chair. So here we are. When you carry your baby and you want to sit her in this highchair, you have to make a decision. You can choose to put your baby back in her crib the time for you to go remove the tray with both hands, put it somewhere, go back to the crib, take your baby, sit her and buckle her up, and then take your heavy tray with both hands and snap it until you hear the clics... Or you can choose to recline the chair first while carrying your baby, sit her carefully because you try to pass very carefully her legs through the 2 narrow legs spaces on each side from the large T bar underneath the tray, wondering how she's gonna fit in when her legs will be larger... Or maybe you choose to always remember to remove the tray after each use of the chair so it's ready to use and easy to access the next time, but that supposes that you always remember to do so and of course that you found somewhere around a large storage place for the tray and its beloved attached T bar...Also, the tray sits to high and this can't be adjusted. It touches my baby's chin when she sits straight, and I have to help her keeping her arms on top of it to grab her food or toys. She often prefers to keep her hands underneath rather than making an effort to keep them too high, on the tray. And last but not least about this tray, it doesn't snap to the chair easily. Even though you remember the video from Chicco where the smiley lady comes and snaps the tray so easily just by pulling the front handle and putting dropping it on the bars, most part of the time you get it wrong. You have to pay attention not to put it a bit to far beyond the Danger signs because it falls out, then push and pull a couple time to make sure it fits safely. Often this is not the case, and you try to argue with the tray until he agrees to snap correctly. And then it's done, hopefully your toddler around won't try to look at the baby over the tray because the arms of the chair move anyway and the tray may un-clic easily!Pfiou!!! I am sorry that the tray completely spoiled this highchair and now I have to return it. I really tried to make it work because over than that, the chair itself is really great and I love it. But the tray is simply not practical at all. I am a very busy mum, I have to be quick, to make it right and easily. This tray doesn't help.

I agree with the other reviewer about the horrible tray!!! They said it perfectly so read the other reviews. In addition, the wheel locks........why why why!!! They lock on their own constantly making it impossible to move the chair. Then your wrangling a kiddo messing around to find out which wheel is locked and why can't you move this friggin chair in any direction! It caused s lot of fights with my husband and I both accusing the other of locking it to drive each mother crazy before we realized it just is crAp and does it on its own. Also....it's not easy to clean. The material is almost absorbant but it says not to wash in a machine....so that's gross. Food soaking up into the pad with only spot cleaning to sterilize. I've used friends and families high chairs, many other brands, and been much happier with theirs. You also can't get that horrible heavy tray close enough to your kids belly to try to prevent all the dropping of food. Overall, I would never buy again. It frustrates me at EVERY meal for a plenitude of reasons.
