We've had this style of light before, I don't know if it was the same manufacturer or not. Our other ones had a little switch so you could turn it on and leave it on. This one you have to hold the button down for the light to stay on, and the button is hard to press and hold, very stiff mechanism, and especially difficult to hold down so since it's so small. Whatever you are trying to do in the dark, it will be one-handed, since the other hand is busy getting a cramp in your thumb, holding down the button, so the light stays on. Since our other photon lights came with a switch we didn't realize you could buy one without a switch. Also, the blue light is actually kind of blinding at night, so when it shuts off you can't see at all for a few seconds. we had yellow and red bulbs on previous lights, and I should've stuck with yellow, it didn't burn your vision like this blue one does. We did discover after we got this one, that this company does make the flashlights with the switch for a few dollars more.

Comes in handy

I only have one problem, you have to push the button too hard to use it. If you want to use it for more than 2 or 3 seconds it's hard to keep on.

I bought the blue and the red light, to my dissatisfaction both lights did not work. I purchased new batteries, installed them and nothing. Both are useless.
