Sure target branded coffee is affordable. But you have to spend +$10 to get the good stuff. Oh yeah the filter works amazing. It’s resistant enough for when I squeeze out any coffee that’s left over in a bowl.

I’ve been using the Toddy cold brew system for the past 5 years and until I learned about these filter bags I was doing so using just the insert filter.These filter bags are a game changer, in fact they should be included with the brew system kit.No more clogged filters, drains quickly. Even the initial loading and filling process is easier as you don’t have to worry about agitating the coffee too much and having the fines clog the insert filter. The filter bag catches all but the finest of the particles, most of which get trapped in the insert filter.Enjoy !!

Love our toddy cold brew and these are a great fit and value. Saves us lost of $$ on iced coffee when we make them from home, and we're picky about the taste so this system works for us because it's just like the way they do it at our fave coffee shop.

I made a mistake of purchasing another filter bag that was cheaper. It was made out of plastic. No way to recycle this in our compost pile. I did not realize this until I tested it. Back to paper. Better tasting brew. No mud in the bottom of the pot. Pay attention if you compost your grounds.

Filter bags work well, but bags don't (should) come in a resealable storage bag!

I have a very expensive coffee maker, but I much prefer the Toddy and its durable filters. Great taste, no acidity and can be used with milk, water, liqueurs -either hot or cold. A chef in NOLA recommended this and it’s the best! I use one pound coarse ground Starbucks Verona coffee beans. I use more water (always spring water) for one pound and it lasts 1-2 weeks. I also let it sit for 24 hours to get a strong brew. So easy!There’s a bit of a learning curve at first…make sure to use the plug or you’ll have coffee everywhere. I’ve done this before…Best coffee ever! I’m never using another coffee maker again!
