I’m the type that needs total protection in a phone case, being waterproof the speakers are also covered which is a good idea, it’s just people tell me a lot when I’m on speaker phone they can not hear me , but you have to just decide how much protection you need I love the case but to have total protection speakers are important to have covered

Wow!! This case is AMAZING!!! I absolutely LOVE it!! I don't normally write reviews, but I had to for this case! I ordered it as a Prime Member and was able to get it in today, the exact same day I ordered it, which was VERY nice!I did the 30 minute water test that is recommended in the instructions, WITHOUT my iPhone 6s Plus in it yet! Boy, was I glad I read and followed the instructions about that! The reason being is because after the first 30 minute test, I found water in the case! I thought I bought a lemon, but upon further inspection, unbeknownst to me, there was one edge of the phone that I had not properly snapped all the way shut. Well, as you can imagine, that was the reason water got in. I would have ruined my phone had I first tested it with it inside! It sure does pay to actually READ the instructions! Lol!!So, after drying it all up, I again tested it a second time for any leakage, of course after double checking all was sealed tightly this time. After the second 30 minute test, it was bone dry inside! Not a drop of water to be found!!!I need a very sturdy, virtually indestructible case, because I am handicap and use a walker, and I have major balance issues. As a result, I tend to drop my phone A LOT! I have been looking for the perfect case for a few months now. I had settled for the OtterBox Defender, because of it's reputation for intense protection. However, I was NOT pleased with it at all! For starters, I absolutely hated how HUGE the OtterBox is!! It is like carrying around a BRICK!! NO THANK YOU!!! Second of all, I had to remove the plastic screen off of the OtterBox, because it has so much give to it and did NOT sit flush against the screen at all. It was VERY difficult to use my screen without pushing hard and getting frustrated each time! After I removed the screen, I made sure I used a glass screen protector instead. I have used the Zagg brand for awhile now and it has saved my screen MANY times! And whenever it gets cracked, all you do is contact Zagg and the send you out a new one each time! All you have to pay is shipping (which is under $5) and then you send your broken one back. I must have done this at least four times already! As I said, I drop my phone A LOT!Anyhow, I am so excited about my Lifeproof Fre for my iPhone 6s Plus! Even though it says to remove all screens, I thought I might just give it a try with my Zagg glass screen protector I already had on, just to see how it would work, again since I need as much phone protection as possible!! Anyhow, I am very happy to say that it works FANTASTIC!! It is still EXTREMELY sensitive to the touch!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this case!!! By far, my absolute favorite! I will look no farther! It is also EXTREMELY thin and light weight, especially compared to the MASSIVE brick of the OtterBox!It took me so long to decide on this case, because of the high cost! But now, I can honestly say it was definitely worth the cost!!! I only wish I had bought it first instead of last!! You won't go wrong spending the extra money to purchase this case. After all, it is worth it and makes sense to spend more on a quality case to protect an $800 phone!! You really do get what you pay for.

I have used LifeProof cases for years. Because of that, I have NEVER had a screen crack or break. But with the LifeProof case for the iPhone 12, the camera area is more open and exposed. My 1st case got scratched with sand from a Caribbean cruise. Acceptable. But the my 2nd case got scratched with good old fashion dust and dirt from Illinois. I am purchasing my 3rd case in a year today because over overall my cell phone will be safe from accidents in a LifeProof case, but since I take a lot of pictures, I will put a cover on my camera screen with clear tape to be a replaceable barrier to prevent permanent scratching.

First off I would like to say that LifeProof has not paid me nor compensated me in anyway for this detailed review.I only gave this product five stars because it would not let me give it seven, seven stars for the seven floors that the LifeProof case protected my phone from. Here's the backstory:I was sitting in my apartment having a great time with my roommate and my best girlfriend with no alcohol in sight (I know, hard to believe right?). I go and FaceTime one of my friends that just left to go back home to talk about paint balling on Friday and making spaghetti tacos after to reminence on our fantastic childhood of iCarly and Avatar the last air bender when I get up and toss my phone to the girl sitting a couple feet away from me. She yells at me to stop throwing my phone or she would throw it back at me and I, with hands like Julian Edelman, said that's fine I'd catch it. We start to banter back and forth on whether or not throwing my phone was okay and I finalized with argument with"I have a LifeProof, it's safe in it."She retorted with"Then I'll throw it out the window!"To which I responded,"I'll do it".It went silent in the room while everyone stared at me with the phone in hand. Then quietly she said "You Won't."Well, I wasn't going to let her prove me wrong so I promptly got up, walked to the window of our apartment on the 7th floor and opened the window and looked out and stated"You really think I won't throw my phone out of the window?" She smirked and said "Nope."Spinning out of my hand into the cold rain, my phone dropped like a rock onto the streets of Shanghai, China and screams could be heard or of the apartment. I rushed downstairs to find my phone facedown in the street only thinking to myself, "Shoot, I'm going to have to replace my phone." But once I picked it up I flipped it over to see two missed texted messages and a completely not cracked screen! I rushed back upstairs to do a complete functions test and the phone worked perfectly! The only thing different was the dirt and scratches on the back of the case! This LifeProof case has handled everything from being in the shower with me, being caught in a rainstorm walking back from the gym, and now flung out of a 7th story window after a girls claimed no balls.This is why I will always buy a LifeProof, for when life says no balls, you can trust your phone in their hands.TLDR:Girl said no balls, guy throws phone out of 7th story window to prove she had no control over his life, will always buy LifeProof cases now.

Love it. I'm using it on an IPhone 6 Plus having dropped my phone on a number of occasions and had to have the screen replaced.It looks lovely, though it does make the phone look massive, but I love it. Been using it for about 3 weeks now. Did the water test, no issue there. I thought I had an air bubble on he screen having set the case finally, but that cleared itself within 24 hours.Usually I use my head phones for making and receiving calls but he fact I have to unscrew the cap puts me off. However I only ever used to use the headset because I was always cutting people off with my ear, this hasn't happened once since I changed to this case.With that I mind I should state I have not lost any touch screen capability. All keys and home button worked exactly as before.I am really pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

Feels real quality. Got a little concerned about the phone cover that seemed to fog over but that was external. Fits easily. Didn't check the waterproofing but it looks like it would do the job.Headphone socker cover is a little tricky to do eepecially if you have cold fingers but I am sure it does a great job and the attachedment is a nice touch.Would be ideal for beach etc.I bought to use with QuadLock kit but the case while smooth is incompatible witht he 3M sticky on the QuadLock.

I have had one of these or the nuud version on most of my phones. We pay so much for our smart phone then trust bits of silicone to protect them. Life proof are fab. Yes if you drop down the outside steps will chip case but not your phone. It’s not totally indestructible but offers outstanding protection for expensive item. Love the colour as found the white and black but bland. This was a very good price compared to usual.

Great case! I haven't used it in the water but used it a lot in the beach and the got wet a lot of times. It protects the phone from water and dust and it was great being able to use my phone even when I had water, sun lotion, sound or dust in my hands. I didn't care about anything. After some times of taking it on and off your phone I am not sure if it keeps the same waterproof functionality.In general one of the best ones I have used.

Great case if you are going to be taking your phone to extreme locations and environments. This keeps my phone free from sand and dust and most importantly water. I’m always out on my SUP and in watery environments. Only negative is that the corner of the case around the head phone jack is not a perfect seal and I worry it could let water in. I have tested it and it stops water from coming in but looks like a big gap. Probably just a design flaw. But still works.
