Lifeproof NÜÜD SERIES iPhone 6s Plus ONLY Waterproof Case - Retail Packaging - FIRST LIGHT (PINK JELLYFISH/CLEAR/SEASHELLS PINK)

I do love this case. Doesn’t feel like I can throw it down the steps in a frenzy of laughter, but I can trust it in the water. I can see the flash plastic is a little weaker and may be coming off (I baby my case and it still has signs of wear), but my fingerprint reader kinda still works and it is keeping water out of the important bits. Only dropped it once or twice on soft surfaces and it still hasn’t cracked plastic or anything. It’s a fine case, not super sturdy. I’ll need another one, at this rate, in about a year. The sound from your bottom speaker goes through the back of the phone so no cupping your hand the way you used to. Instead cup the whole phone back now. But if you have a plus, that doesn’t work unless you’re a professional NBA player. So don’t expect your speaker to do too much unless it’s laying flat on a table. Then you have to stare straight down. That’s a little irritating, but so is my new neck issue. Other than that the proximity sensor is extremely irritating now so I always use a Bluetooth headset, and people can’t hear me on speaker phone unless I’m yelling like I’m at a soccer game. A plus is the toggle for sound or vibrate works really well and doesn’t change in my pocket. The soft rubber only gets stuck on basketball shorts, but regular jeans and everything it’s fine. Clean it with baking soda every couple weeks to keep a nice color instead of it turning poop brown, and don’t put the clear back into a bowl of sand unless you want a “frosted” look. All around, does what I bought it to do. Keep water out. But my phone experience has declined a good bit.UPDATE: A downer regarding this phone case is that it seems to make it very difficult for others to hear me when speaking over the phone. May have to trade this one out in the near future, because unfortunately that problem is very annoying.

So to start off I love this phone case it has a clear back so I can show off the color of the iPhone I bought since I spent extra moola for GOLLLLD. Anyways. Not only has it protected my special friend for over TWO YEARS! But it’s a cute color! I just reuped and got the pink one to replace my old cover that needed to be laid to rest. As you can see this cover lasted for 2 hard years of me constantly dropping my phone, random spaz throws, accidental swims, my phone has survived quite a bit and even the way the phone case is sent up my screen is always protected !! It’s a great case !!!!

⁃ This kit comes with an iPhone 6S plus phone blue mold that is the same size as the iPhone 6S plus, a screen protector, cleaning cloths, a phone-jack extension the 2 pieces of the waterproof case plus instruction and warranty paperwork. ⁃ I did the 30 minute water test on the case. I followed the instructions and placed the blue mold between the 2 parts of the case, the front and back and then covered the charging connector port with the clasp/lock and the headphone jack port with the screw-in lock. I put a piece of paper in the blue mold to see if it would catch water. ⁃ I submerged the case in a glass container and held the case down with a drinking glass for 30 minutes. ⁃ After 30 minutes, I removed the case from the water and I used a small US dime coin (10 cent coin) to pry the case open, using the grooved lip on the bottom left of the case as a starting point. The mold and paper inside had held up and didn’t allow any water to get in, meaning that, If an actual phone was in there, it would have not been affected if it was immersed or submerged in water. ⁃ I then dried the case with a piece of paper towel and once dry, I inserted the phone with the screen side facing down on the hollow piece of the waterproof case. ⁃ I then placed the back part of the case on the front part of the case and closed the case, starting with the bottom of the case and working the sides after that. ⁃ Once enclosed. I tested the functions of the phone. The home button and fingerprint scan, volume up and down buttons, silent ringer button and power off button. They all worked. ⁃ I then applied the screen protector once I had installed the case as per the instructions. Place the protector with the letters ‘Screen Protector’ on the screen. I smoothened the few bubbles with a credit card. ⁃ I decided to buy this waterproof case when my iPhone 6S plus fell into the water and I was forced to replace the screen. This case is a nice insurance for an accident involving water. I don’t intend to swim and snorkel with the phone, just to be able to fish it out of water and have it intact in case of the very rare but sometimes probable water accident. Based on the 30 minute test, it should be able to withstand a water immersion for a few seconds which is all I need. ⁃ The fingerprint/home button plastic piece of the case is the most important piece of a waterproof case and you should be very careful not to pierce it or try to remove it thinking that it is a removable protector from the factory.

The worst lifeproof I’ve every purchased. I’m really disappointed with the quality. After like a week of usage the entire case was turning blackish and getting dirty. I’ve only had it for a couple months and the case is already falling apart. The sides are all peeing off and the case can no longer be considered water proof. My boyfriend has the other style of lifeproof (original) and hasn’t had the same problems I’ve had. This has made me never want to buy a lifeproof again.

I am familiar with using a Life Proof case, as I have had one on my phones for 10 + years. This one was almost impossible to snap together securely, and the charge port was extremely hard to open and close. So, is the case fake or has Life Proof's quality tanked? I don't know, but I did sent it back as it was unusable. In addition, during the return process, I was prompted to call the Manufacturer's number, 800-533-0735. I called, only to be marketed by Medic Alert, then some offer to get a $100 gift card for $1.95 - only if I give them my credit card number. No thanks and I'm done.

Custodia ottima dal punto di vista della robustezza e della impermeabilità rispetto all'uso da me fatto, personalmente l'ho testata in piscina più volte e il telefono era sempre perfettamente asciuttto. Unica nota negativa, la presa per gli auricolari: la custodia è dotata di un perno che si avvita di modo da creare una chiusura ermetica e questa funziona egregiamente. Quando però si vogliono usare gli auricolari, tale perno risulta piuttosto scomodo, in quanto rimanendo aperto ostacola l'inserimento degli auricolari stessi, sopratutto quelli che hanno il mini jack di lato. Inoltre quando si apre la custodia, bisogna stare attenti perché si perde con estrema facilità. lifeproof ha messo in dotazione anche una prolunga che si avvita nel medesimo modo, credo sia per ovviare a questo problema, sia per consentire un uso con cuffie se si hanno auricolari impermeabili. La prolunga funziona abbastanza bene, ogni tanto però incanta il telefono in modalità "auricolari", ma questo è un problema anche dell'iPhone stesso. In conclusione, consiglio vivamente l'acquisto soprattutto per chi fa un uso del cellulare in condizioni ""estreme" e vuole una garanzia di protezione. Inoltre l'ingombro è minimo in quanto la custodia non aumenta di molto il volume del telefono, per cui puó essere tenuta comodamente come custodia da tutti i giorni.

Love this case. I bought it because I can still see my beautiful rose gold iPhone through it. Well protected and durable, full touchscreen access and it's not too heavy or bulky. The only downside is the back shows dirt/scuff marks easily because of the light pink colour.

I bought this case for my wife around Christmas. She loved it. Now 3 months later, a small crack has developed on the top left corner of the case. I assume this will result in the case not being waterproof any longer.
