My boyfriend and I are photographers and I have begged several clients to order this dress for their session. I knew that it would be stunning in photographs! I decided to just take the risk and get it for myself, even though there was no plus size option. I managed to fit into the XL thankfully. A little tight on the chest, but to be expected of course. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone wanting an adorable dress for everyday wear, or a special occasion.

Fit as expected using the reviews for help. I ordered a large (12-14 I believe). I have the free people version of this and although the fabric is better on that version the overall fit and style is better on this version. The arms wouldn’t stay up on the free people dress so I ended up cutting them off lol. I love that this one can be worn on the shoulders (and stays up!) or off the shoulders. Bought this to possibly use at my baby shower. I got it in blue and in black. Fits perfect for pregnancy and I know I will wear it after as well as it is so cute. I love the pattern on the fabric. Super wrinkled but a steamer will help.

i saw on tik tok that “milk maid style dresses” are trending and wanted to give it a try. so i ordered this with zero expectations. for starters, it actually doesn’t even come in my size. i’m a 20 normally, and the XL only fits up to 18, per the chart. but i saw a few ladies who bought this when pregnant and figured it was stretchy. when it came in the mail and fit i was honestly extremely impressed. the material is pretty sturdy and it is not see-through AT ALL. i tried it on wearing very dark undergarments and you couldn’t see them one bit. if you’re a little bustier, it might be a tight fit around the chest, but overall? 10/10 it’s exactly what i was looking for.

I’m normally a US Small, 5’8.5” 130lbs.I had to get a Large in this this because1) I didn’t want to worry about shrinkage2) I’m on the taller side and waists often are too high for me. You can see in the picture the L fitsI love it! I’m probably going to buy 2 more colors. It’s a soft but substantial enough fabric.

This is a beautiful peasant styled dress. It would also be considered in the line of Bohemian style clothing, hippie, Princess, or just be you !It arrived today in the sage color. I bought a size Large, as I did not want the smocked area to pucker or be too stretched. None of these concerns were present. It fit like it was custom made for me.There is no zipper in it, you pull it over your head to wear the dress.Beware if you have arthritis, it may be a little bit of a tough go of it, but well worth the additional effort, considering how it LOOKS when you get it on.I feel like a Princess in this long dress. It flows, is cotton, and ? Washable, hang to dry in my opinion for thebest laundering results.I am 5' 5" and it hits at the top of my ankle, which is ideal to NOT have a "tripping hazard"in motion.Wear it any place you choose. I plan on wearing it shopping, to mass, and out for dinner. It is pretty enough to wear for a wedding reception, or any party. Dress it up with heels, or sandals for a morecasual look. This offers a boundless amount of options for suitability at any affair.I think that this is appropriate for any female 12 - 90. I am 68 and it is perfect for me. I love the design.

I do not understand some of these reviews. This dress is not cute or pretty. It’s frumpy, old fashioned and fugly. It’s not suitable for dressy occasions. Unless perhaps you are re-enacting the very Brady wedding. It’s heavy and cheaply constructed. The fabric is not well aligned on the seams so that it twists on your body. If you put the side seams even on your hips the draw strings are not centered. The only reason I bought this hideous thing is to use it for a costume. For me it will be fine but I simply cannot imagine anyone actually wearing this in pubic as an outfit. The pink one I bought is also a very dull pepto pink. Seriously not pretty.

These fit well and are great for me.For general wear: It's a chemise more than a dress - but thick for a chemise, so you can't see through it even in white, so it makes a very comfortable summer covering. I got a couple in darker colors, and they work nicely as dresses. Husband loves them, for obvious reasons. Worn out in public, I usually put a top over or under for modesty's sake, but since they're cotton, that's not overly warm. Bonus, no loose threads on any of the several I purchased!For costuming:They expose enough bosom to fit under an 1860's ballgown, although you may need to adjust if you have lightweight sleeves. They use elastic to do the smocking, so if you're looking for absolute honesty, they're not perfect - but a chemise is the hidden part anyway, and it does the job! Bonus points for an easy, gentle fit and actual cotton cloth for under-corset wear. I'm about 5'2", and the chemise covers my ankles properly. No exposed stockings! But not dragging on the floor as if I would have to be 8 feet tall to be my weight, either.
