*update: a year later, no issues and just as new!! everything still works as new, the noise must be nothing. absolutely recommend. MacBook is amazing for Adobe apps and Blender I was hesitant buying a used laptop from amazon but the quality and appearance of it was good! The box scared me as it didn’t come with bubble wrap around the laptop, just a cardboard slot that held it😬it turned out just fine and nothing was damaged, which i bought one that was in excellent condition. the screen, battery life, charger, touch bar, and keyboard all worked as they should. the laptop heating happens but that every laptop, i use this for the Adobe Creative Suite and Blender so very demanding apps, but even with those running it ran amazing. only issue i heard but a whirring noise but it doesn’t effect the laptop at all. Eventually going to get it checked out since i got Asurion insurance on it. overall great purchase and quality! if your looking for an affordable and reliable laptop i suggest buying one off amazing renew with insurance! best renewed experience i’ve had for sure. apple products work so well for graphic designers

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I don’t usually do reviews but I wanted to do one for this product because I’m usually skeptical with refurbished products but this laptop is amazing. I do music, edit videos, and play sims and it’s still very good. I just have to keep it on the charger because it dies super fast and it does get hot but that’s about it. I had only a tiny scratch on the bottom nothing noticeable and they did give me a faulty charger but I just ended up getting a new one. I will be getting another one to move my sims on as my creative projects grow and I download more mods lol.

The screen quality of this computer and physical quality is great. The computer had been working great for about a month or two, but now all of a sudden is giving me a substantial amount of problems. All of a sudden the computer started shutting down windows that I was working in including google chrome, safari, my finder windows and other applications. It also started to randomly shut down the whole computer on me. It would make a noise from the fan inside the computer and then just shut down. It also has been throwing several different errors. I am hoping to speak with someone in order to make this situation right, and I will update this review as soon as I do, but I am having a very hard time reaching anyone from BuySPRY to fix this situation and am extremely frustrated with the fact that this product was marketed as 'like new' and refurbished to an original operating state and am having these sort of issues. I hope that this company will make this right, I would be extremely grateful and also would commend and recommend this company to anyone who wants to buy from them. But if this problem remains as is, then I would recommend not buying from them. I tried calling and their phone lines are 'unavailable' and I have been trying their live chat option at BuySPRY.com and I cannot reach anyone. I left a message and am hoping to hear back and am going to send an email as well. I'll keep you all posted... :/

I got a good price as I paid $1649 for a laptop that would cost at least a thousand bucks more if I were to buy it new, and several hundred more if I were to buy it refurbished from Apple. The shipping was pretty quick and easy. It came wrapped in a very protective bubble wrap and simply had the laptop and the charger in the box. The charger looks to be brand new. The laptop itself was in satisfactory condition. It had a few very small dings (no dents or scratches), and normal wear around the charging ports. the bottom of the laptop had some discoloration due to a case or something being used on it. When the laptop arrived it had 298 cycles on the battery. This seemed like a lot but the battery still has a lot of life left in it so it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. The computer works like new and has been very nice to have! I have used it for just shy of a week and have noticed nothing of concern. If I do have future issues I will be sure to update this review. As for now, I am happy and satisfied with my purchase!

I’m already a fan of the Mac ecosystem, so this review is really about the renewed condition. I’ve bought several Amazon Renewed products before, and they’ve always worked exactly as expected. This MacBook Pro is the first one I’ve had with even a minor issue: one of the four USB-C ports won’t charge the battery. Everything else functions perfectly. Outside of that quirk, I absolutely love this machine. It handles all my real-world needs—website development, video editing, streaming, and school—without breaking a sweat. I don’t game, so I can’t speak to performance there, but for productivity and creative work, it’s more than capable and saves a ton compared to buying new. I also grabbed an adapter, and it connects to my dual monitors without any trouble, giving me two or even three screens depending on what I’m working on.

If long battery life is your priority, I’d recommend an M1 MacBook Air or Pro instead, depending on your budget. As with many refurbished models, there may be light scratches (even on the underside). Interestingly, my unit arrived with 32GB of RAM instead of the advertised 16GB — a pleasant surprise, though it could be misleading for someone expecting the exact listed specs. The 1TB storage is excellent, and the design is sleek, though opinions on the Touch Bar vary (I like it). Setting up with my iPhone was quick and easy. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this model if you want extremely long battery life, lightning-fast startup speeds, or dislike refurbished electronics. For my needs — heading to college for Film and needing a capable laptop for creative software on the go without spending $2,000 — it’s a great fit.

Absolutely love this computer. It’s so easy to set up and use. The battery lasts a very long time. The screen quality is amazing on the large screen. I love the colors it looks really nice. I absolutely love the touchscreen feature at the top of the key board it’s so convenient and easy to use!! Also very cool. It’s very fast and has a lot of storage. I got it because I have a business and needed something fast that worked good and this definitely is doing the job! And the price is AMAZING for this computer !!
