I bought three of these. One for each of my kids. Only one is still working. One quit after a couple months of use and the other quit after a few weeks of use. Wont turn on after being on the charger for 24hrs or more. Very disappointed.

I ordered two of these for my children for Christmas - a pink one and a white one. First some positive items: It charges quickly via a USB outlet, has multiple lights of different warmths, is dimmable, and you can adjust the angle of the light. The product is very lightweight and easy to travel with. All around, a very good design. Now for the cons: The pink one has been great - works perfectly. The first white one I received came with a charge and worked for several days. When the charge ran out, we plugged it into the USB outlet and the power indicator had a blue glow which shows it was charging. After an hour of charge, no light. After a day of charge, no light. I returned it and ordered a white replacement. Same thing. I was out of the return window, so I guess I am stuck with one working (pink) and one not (white). Would rate 5-star if it worked as it is supposed to.

Being rechargeable caught my attention first! I love the variety of light colors and brightness's to choose from. It was hard to find a book light that wouldn't disturb my husband while he is trying to sleep. This is perfect in everyway! I can use it when lying in bed, when reading in the car at night and it not disturb his driving, and I've clipped it to be able crochet in the car when the sun goes down. Hubby was so impressed with it, he purchased one a few days after seeing how helpful mine was. I am constantly telling my book friends to get this!

The good:-3 light colors to choose from. I like the yellow light.-each light color is dimmable to a comfortable reading level-Clips easily to book-lightweight enough that I don't notice the weight while reading-the head of the light is adjustable from side to side and up and downThe bad:-none of the custom dimming options are saved, so you have to reset them every time-The clip is thin metal and if it gets stretched out of shape, from placing over a hardback cover for instance, it doesn't go back and there's no way to form it back to the way it was-once the clip is stretched out, it doesn't hold onto the pages well, so it's constantly falling over and/or offOverall, this is just okay and I would not buy it again.

Seriously this is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon!! I have absolutely no complaints and nothing but love for this light. The 3 different settings are great. And having the ability to dim is FANTASTIC! I have chronic migraines so I am very sensitive to light but haven't had any issues with this. The battery life is INCREDIBLY LONG LASTING! I've used it every single evening for the past week and half, for hours each night, (in fact I fell asleep a couple times within still on) and have yet to make the battery die! Thank you for such a great product!! I do love this light!

My girls are getting to the age where they want to read in bed before going to sleep, so I thought these would be perfect... and they are! Except that they just don't last. I had to send the first two that we received back within a week because both had died inexplicably after a couple of days' use. The next two we received worked for a few months... one is still working, but the other just died a few days ago. The battery life was great, my girls could read for several nights in a row before I'd have to charge them... I've only charged them 2 or 3 times since we've owned them I think. It's just incredibly disappointing that they can't last more than a few months... Perhaps another vendor's product is less faulty? Like I said, I love the idea, but I can't recommend the product.

The way this is intended to be used, it is damaging to the back-cover of a soft-bound book. Also, the metal clip was destroyed almost immediately by a two-year-old as it is very flimsy. I just place it on my chest and it actually works quite well, just now how it was intended.

This is a great little light. Love that it has three light temperatures and it dims. The usb plug makes it easy to recharge. My only con is the clip sucks! It stretched out the first time I used it. It’s not on a spring, it is just a thin metal clip so once you put it on some pages it doesn’t go back (and I didn’t stretch it over an excessive amount of pages) it still works but I have to hold it to keep it from slipping now. Still with it for the price.
