Quite a bit is needed to get the milky consistency I like in my coffee, but that's to be expected since it is mostly water. Despite the barista name, this product does not seem to be heat-stable because it has a toasted nut flavor when heated. Thankfully, it is not as strong as regular almond milk, which tastes burnt and is unpalatable. I don't own a frother so I can't speak to its frothing ability. Overall, this product is a good low-calorie alternative to milk or creamers. Oat milk is delicious but is double the calories. The toasted nut flavor is tolerable and doesn't ruin the coffee. The price is not too bad as well.
