Old Dutch 1844 Hammered Antique Copper Cookie Jar, 4 quart, Antique Copper

I found that this is a sturdy nice sized cookie jar with a good seal to keep cookies fresh. But I was very disappointed to find what looked like a hammered copper exterior was just an applied finish. It was smooth and lacked the style I was seeking. It is a product that will do the job it was designed for, but is low end on the outside finish.

Love this. It matches other copper accents in our kitchen.

I bought this as a gift for my mother in law. She loved it. For Christmas last year I purchased her the canister set in copper so the cookie jar matched perfectly. The only issue I have is I wish it was a little bigger. The top on the cookie jar comes off sooooo much easier than the whole canister set. But overall a nice cookie jar.

Quality made container. Very pretty. Accurate color. It's a little small for a cookie jar, though. I was expecting it too be a bit bigger. Its slightly more slender but about the size of an average coffee can (the old tin cans, not the new plastic ones).

I'm using this to keep my dogs treats in. Works well for this, looks good on the counter and top fits good but not hard to remove.

Very nice product has the look I was looking for, lid was a little wonky and didn't want to sit flush but I just squished the mouth of the jar a bit and got it more round and it sits ok now.

Appearance was exactly as shown. It seals nicely to keep the cookies fresh.
