Went with a costume my bf loved it worth the money, wasn’t to heavy, functional and wasn’t like dangerously sharp but it is a weapon but easy to hold and well built.

This is a great sword, the real deal except that the blade is not sharpened. Great sheath. It's longer than I expected and a bit heavy to my 72 year-old arms. I'm 6'2" and strapped on it clears the ground about 2" if straight down. But angled as you would wear it it cleared the ground a foot. The cage around the hand is heavy duty. This is a great RenFest sword, or if you want to terrify folks down on mainstreet. Quite well made.

Was asked to cosplay for a medieval themed wedding. Perfect for what i needed. Edges do not come sharp so it was fairly safe for a couple of young ones that wanted to see it.

For the purpose which I purchased it, ren faire costume prop, this item is fine enough quality. The blade length/weight are great for my size and the basket hilt with the wire wrap are both very nice touches.That being said, it has several flagrant issues. The top of the scabbard disconnected from the rest of it the first time I drew the blade as the scabbard was cracked. The blade as well has a noticable bend about halfway down. Finally, the scabbard has no hardware to allow it to connect to a belt loop or sword frog so drawing the sword from the waist means you have to use your free hand to hold the scabbard or it will fall down as it simply rests on the basket hilt.

Got this as a gift for my partner and they love it. Very pretty sword and looks cute as a decorative piece. Isn't particularly strong so only recommend it as a costume piece or decoration.

Great sword, the weight style and look is all great if your using it for cosplay, would highly recommend.

The craftsmanship is really well done, the weight is decent and balanced. We definitely kept the box it was shipped in to store it properly and buy a belt guard to hold it during the Ren faire. Plenty of compliments on the entire look as Wesley.
