This is a beautiful and sturdy corkscrew. I'm not sure what one would even improve upon to make a better corkscrew of this style. The curved wood on it is attractive and makes it look well-made. Overall it feels like a standard design, with an added cantilevered arm to it, it gives you even better grip and strength when awkwardly trying to open wine bottles in front of an audience. ;)The two bonus items in this package are a wine stopper and a wine pourer. The wine stopper is clearly a good add-on, because if you're going to open a bottle of wine, you might as well be prepared if you don't finish the bottle! However, it is a little odd that the top ball (what you would grip to pull) on the stopper screws on to the rest of the stopper. I wouldn't necessarily say this is a problem... but it does seem that if it were tightly wedged into a bottle and you needed to do some twisting motions to work the stopper out from the bottle, the ability for the thing you're gripping to come unscrewed from the thing you're trying to remove seems, well, less than efficient.The third bonus item is a wine pourer. I'm no professional wine drinker so if I'm just an ignorant noob here, so be it. But what I'll say is... I've never encountered the use of one of these things as a wine pourer. I've always seen them exclusively used to pour oil or vinegar from glass jars. While this very likely can come in useful to pour wine, it's just not what I would have expected (or necessarily asked for) in this little combination box of drinking supplies.Overall, though, I would say that this corkscrew is a great item to have on hand if you'll be opening any wine. Though the two add-ons are slightly odd, they don't do any harm to the actual corkscrew, which should be the reason you're buying this in the first place, right?I received this product at a discount in return for my unbiased review.

The wine opener: a good quality wine opener that easily removes a wine cork from the bottle. I’ve now used this opener on several bottles with good results. No broken or damaged corks, so I’m a happy camper. I’ve used openers like this before, and usually you have to get the worm (corkscrew) in really deep to get the cork out. I found with this version, you don’t need to get the worm in very deeply to get the cork out. It only requires a few twists. The foil opener on this model is serrated. I’ve used it with good success, but I’m still not sure why you would need a serrated knife for this. There also appears to be a bottle cap opener, but I don’t generally have this type of bottle in the house, so I haven’t tried it yet.The set also contains a bottle stopper and a pourer/aerator. The stopper works well on a couple of different sized bottles, thanks to the ribbed rubber collar. I wasn’t so fond of the fact that the decorative ball on the top of the stopper is actually a separate piece that screws on (higher chance that I’m going to lose it.) but it works the way it is supposed to. I’m happy with that.The pourer also fit several different sized bottles, but I have to say, this was my least favorite part of the set. It fit well in the bottles and made a much smoother pour, but there was no mechanism to cover the pourer, so I could put it in, but unless I finished the bottle, the wine would essentially stay open unless I switched the pourer out for the stopper. I’ve seen better designs for pourers.The corkscrew is a good product, and I will definitely use it a lot. I’m only giving the set a 4 out of 5 because I feel like I need to review the whole set and the additional items aren’t as good quality as the corkscrew.I was given this product, at a discount, in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I really enjoy using this all-in-one corkscrew tool. It is the best corkscrew I have ever used, and I love the quality and simplicity of the product. The corkscrew itself is a good weight, and the wood is beautiful and smooth. It seems to be very well-made with quality in mind. The knife and corkscrew are easily maneuverable out of and back into the base. It provides good leverage and makes it easy to get the cork out quickly. I usually have to fight with a corkscrew to get the cork out, but this one really made things really easy for me. This set is so fancy! I loved the packaging upon arrival. It would be very nice presentation for a wedding gift, or any kind of gift. The corkscrew was easy to screw in, and has broken a cork yet! The spout was very nice, fit great, and did not drip and wine. The craftsman ship of the corkscrew handle is just gorgeous. I'll try the wine saver lid, once I have a bottle with any wine left.I received a promotional code to review this product and give my honest feedback.
